SWAMPCRASH PYRAMID - ROUND 12 RESULTS AND WINNER

Post by Johnny Carwash »

Hey, so here it goes with the new Swampcrash idea. I'm calling it a Pyramid based on how it works and will see if that sticks.

HOW IT WORKS
-No sign-up is needed, you can participate simply by responding to the survey link for each question.

-Everyone starts out with a score of 0.

-The questions will at first have a very large number of correct answers, narrowing as the game progresses.

-The goal is to avoid getting a common or wrong answer at all costs. If you get a common answer, wrong answer, or fail to respond for that round, you are penalized by having a point added to your score.

-If you gain a point to your score, your odds of winning will probably be slim, but you are encouraged to continue participating in order to add to the pool of responses each round.

-You can join mid-game, but will be docked for each question you did not answer.

-The game will continue until a round ends with one person having a lower score than anyone else. That person is the winner.

I'd like to advance rounds every couple days, so please be prepared to get your responses in quickly to avoid being docked for that round.

Fuck. Not sure what's up, unless there's some kind of limit on responses within a certain time frame. Between this and finding out they want $25/month to view responses in a useful format, Survey Monkey can eat a dick.

Go ahead and PM me or e-mail (daveclements78 at gmail dot com) in the meantime.

Now we can play the sub-mind-fuck chicken game in the thread. I said Canada. Or did I?

Quick call-out to past Swampcrashers I still haven't heard from, in case they're interested:

Ryan
bronto
travzilla
Rush
TT
DC47
GoodKarma
Pruitt

Anyone else is still welcome.

I think that the fun part is that there were 20-30 Jordans there. So you psych yourself out.

US, Canada, Mexico, England, Scotland, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, France, Germany, Italy, Egypt, Russia, Brazil, China, Japan, India. And that's just hitting the big ones that you'd think 90% of people could name off the top of their head. I think Portugal was the only one that got said.

If a person is in solely as part of their membership in a band (and not based on their solo work), can we list just that person, and not the band?

No. Not in that case.

If they're in as both a band member and a solo performer, either is valid.

Huh?

I had the same thought, but then thought others would avoid the MAC for that reason. Good thing, as my other short listers included Tulane, Connecticut and Kent State.
