The second yellow was a pretty clear foul to me, regardless of whether the Man U team had been talked to right before the foul. He made contact with Hazard's leg after Hazard ran past. It was late and he made no contact with the ball. How is that not a foul?
Oh, it was definitely a foul. I think a yellow might have been harsh, but considering the cumulative tackles on Hazard to that point, it was understandable.
BTW, other than the dirty tackles - mostly on Hazard - ManU played some very impressive D. That game easily could have been 3 or more to 0.
Yep. You're right. For some reason, I thought it was 3 each.
For all of the to do about this stamp, and Herrera's red, etc., I think it's Phil Jones that I like the least. He's so damn clumsy back there, and scares me every game.

That rule always struck me as silly. If a ref sees that Willie Beamen took out a gun and shot a dude on the field, and only threw a flag for unsportsmanlike conduct, he can't be suspended?

Pulisic's goal today was not the clinical finish despite going between the goalie's legs...but what a high IQ. He overlaps Dembélé from way across the field. Just a really smart run as Dembélé attacked.
What a surprise … Samir Nasri just kicked a Leicester player on the Achilles tendon pretty damn hard. Fortunately the guy got up and Nasri got a yellow card. What a colossal prick.
Birds don’t suck. They lack the necessary anatomical structures to do so.
Sevilla get a gift penalty on a phantom, no contact foul in the box. Steven Nzonzi takes it ... and it's saved by Schmeichel! Had the penalty converted the aggregate score would've been 3-3 with an away goal each. Huge.

Leicester could have been down by 4 or 5 goals during the game in Seville, crazy how they turned it around. And NAsri is a complete meathead. Like the colour guy said, you lean your head forward at any level of soccer, you will get a card. And to do that when Seville were exerting intense pressure is just ridiculous.

Sad to see Swansea get eviscerated like that, but happy to see Fabianski the "hero goalie" fall to pieces. The title is Chelsea's, but this has been the most enjoyable season I've had in sports since the early 90s with the Bills.

Did Shakespeare change the system or gameplan? If not a major change, it's surprising, as I thought the players liked Ranieri. A lot of them had options to move on and chose to stay for lower wages.

Got me. I am having a hard time believing it was as simple as a system change...
Interesting. Am I right to expect almost complete turnover of our >25 year old roster, either to the bench or sold off, after this season aside from Fernandinho and Silva and maybe a defender because you probably can't roll with 3 new guys + Stones?

I do think Pep will overhaul the team, but I think it is way too early to say who will come in. I'm pretty sure Manscum City have a ton of players coming off the books, so figuring out who is leaving is easier than determining who will replace them.

I follow a Chelsea blog or two and there are at least 5-6 articles every week linking to news articles in some European newspaper about a Chelsea transfer (in or out). It's amazing just how many rumors flow and how frequently.
95% (at least) are complete bullshit.
But yeah, Alexis to Chelsea is a popular one. Lukaku to Chelsea even more so.

Even the otherwise respectable Guardian includes every goddamn rumor in their transfer roundup section.
