Reportedly Smith asked to be released from his contract a while back and Rupert refused. Actually sounds like they finally reached an agreement. Rumors that Smith really hated the way the opinion side was dictating what was happening in the news room. I know it sounds funny, but it’s gotten even worse lately.

SCOOP: SEAN HANNITY AND AINSLEY EARHARDT ARE THE FIRST COUPLE OF FOX

n a Friday last August, Sean Hannity flew his private helicopter to Trump National Golf Course in Colts Neck, New Jersey, to attend the wedding of Fox & Friends weekend host Pete Hegseth and Fox producer Jennifer Rauchet. Inside Fox, the wedding had been a topic of much discussion. Hegseth and Rauchet reportedly had an affair and a child together while still married to their respective spouses. But Hannity’s helicopter arrival, a Trumpian piece of theater, was what one former Fox executive remembered most about the event. “Hannity emerged from the chopper with [Fox & Friends host] Ainsley Earhardt, and they made this grand entrance together,” the former executive recalled. “People were like, Wow, okay.”

It was as if Hannity and Earhardt were the first couple of Fox News—which they are. Four current and former Fox News staffers told me that Hannity and Earhardt are dating—and have been for quite some time. Hannity and Earhardt aren’t acknowledging their relationship to colleagues, but two Hannity friends told me they have observed them together in social situations where they’ve acted like a couple. “I knew they were involved. I saw it when we were all together,” a Fox staffer told me. “It wasn’t even that hidden,” a Hannity friend said. According to the staffer, Earhardt has been hosting Fox & Friends during the coronavirus from a remote studio in the basement of Hannity’s Long Island mansion. Earhardt also uses Hannity’s lawyer as her television agent, two sources said.

Fox News apologises for cropping Trump out of Epstein and Maxwell photo

Fox News’s decision to crop Trump out of an Epstein picture – and subsequent expression of regret – echoed a decision by Trump’s son Eric Trump to tweet a picture of Maxwell attending Chelsea Clinton’s wedding.

“Birds of a feather,” Eric Trump wrote, accompanying a picture of Maxwell watching former president Clinton walk his daughter up the aisle.

After many observers pointed to numerous pictures and videos of Eric Trump’s father with Epstein, the tweet was deleted.

Observers also shared a New Yorker profile of Donald Trump from 1997, which described Maxwell “bumming a ride” to Mar-a-Lago on Trump’s private plane, on which Eric Trump, then 13, was also a passenger.

“Eric Trump, who tweeted earlier about Bill Clinton and Ghislaine Maxwell, was literally himself on his dad’s private jet with her,” wrote the journalist Mehdi Hasan. “FFS. You cannot make this stuff up.”

Mistakenly. Yeah, someone sneezed at the wrong time, and whoops! just accidently and expertly cropped Trump out of a picture. Could've happened to anyone!
