I looked at the full game log and 12 LOB for Duff is legit:

1st: bases loaded, pop out - 3 LOB
3rd: bases loaded, K - 3 LOB
5th: bases loaded, K - 3 LOB
7th: 2 on, sac fly - 1 LOB
8th: 2 on, ground out - 2 LOB

With starter Degenerasian leading the charge, the Burlington Sports Frogs defeated the Oxnard Sugar Beets, 3-1, in Game 2 of the World Series today. The left-hander threw 7 innings of 6-hit ball at Green Mountain Grounds to help Burlington take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-7 series.

BigFatJew aided the Burlington cause with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the third. For the game, the first baseman went 1-3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," BigFatJew said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."

The next game is scheduled for Monday, October 30th, 2017 at Oxnard Grounds in Oxnard. The scheduled starters for the game are Brian for Burlington and Chris Anderson for Oxnard.

Note: Bronto left the game with back spasms, but looks to be OK for the next game.

Already down in the World Series, the Oxnard Sugar Beets put on their best show, beating the Burlington Sports Frogs by a final score of 6-3 today. wlu_lax earned player of the game honors, as he went 2 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks. Oxnard now trails Burlington 2-1 in the best-of-7 affair.

Had Nate Garland not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Garland hit a grand slam. That made the score 6-3, in favor of the Sugar Beets.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Garland said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."

Game 4 is set to be played tomorrow in Oxnard. Slated to start are TT2.0 for the Burlington Sports Frogs and Chris Anderson for the the Oxnard Sugar Beets.

Riding the 2-hit performance of left fielder Gunpowder, the Burlington Sports Frogs got a road win against the Oxnard Sugar Beets, 14-2, in Game 4 of the World Series today. Gunpowder hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 5 for the Sports Frogs, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 3 games to 1.

Gunpowder had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the top of the first inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Sports Frogs went on to win.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Gunpowder said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."

Game 5 is scheduled for tomorrow. The scheduled starters for the game are Sabo for the Burlington Sports Frogs and Mitch Byer for the the Oxnard Sugar Beets.

It was a hard-fought battle for both teams to make it this far. But as the saying goes, "to the victors go the spoils." For the victorious Burlington Sports Frogs, that meant the Swamp Baseball League World Series trophy.

The Sports Frogs took a 4-1 victory over the Oxnard Sugar Beets at Oxnard Grounds, winning their 1st championship after taking the series 4-1.

"We've got grit," said Sports Frogs right fielder Gunpowder, who was named MVP of the series. "We know how to win when we have to."

The new titleholders completed the regular season with a first-place finish in the Bensell Conference Northeast Division and a 101-61 record.
