Have had a series of good starting hands, but no luck on any flops. Down $15K. Reminding myself that this tournament is very different from live - string betting AK doesn't work if someone if all, like, fuck it, my 2 6 off is gonna come home...

It is fun, but when signing up, you never think about the interminable three days waiting for a hand where you auto-folded a 6-3 offsuit to end.

There - picked up $22,000 to get back to just above $50K - so back to the starting line basically.

Might be going out - have pocket JJ. Have $35,000 roughly - one caller ahead of me and I am in middle position - raised $900 (blinds are $300). stack at $58,000 two behind raised $1600 above my raise. I have left an all in raise on advance action. Haven't hit a flop yet, maybe can hit this one, or see if he is raising with AK or AQ and hope he misses. Will see.

Ok, this is one of those years where this feels fixed.

He called - flop came J8Q

I flopped a set of jacks - should be all good.

Oh, wait, he had pocket QQ.

And, scene.

I just successfully called a bluff to move up to $96K. I think I'm 42nd place. It's nice to be doing well in this tourney again. It's been a few years.

I would have thought about it for a while. But, probably no. I'm glad you only checked!

Man, looking at this table's recent history, you've had a great run of cards lately! Last three hands - A10, A8, A8. And that's just a hand or two after a run where you had KJ, 33, AQ. I think that's more playable hands than I've had the whole time.

Thanks. I had a long dry spell, but have gotten a few hand lately. One was swallowed up by someone going all in before the flop. You killed another half-decent one. I'm hoping to win that money back in this current hand. We'll see...

And I'm out.

I lost back-to-back hands with AK and KK. Dude called my pre-flop jam on the last hand with QTo and hit his straight. Looks like I finished in 217th place. Meh
