I wouldn’t say I’m actively upset, but that one got me more than I would have expected. She was pretty dope.

I think if literally nothing else you have to give her credit for writing two songs that will probably still be played 100 years from now assuming humans are still around. Not as easy as it sounds.

Wtf? As a 47-year-old, that’s disturbing.

History of mental illness and a previous suicide attempt by OD (2012 I think). All signs point to suicide. So very sad. I went through a female Irish vocalist stage at one point and listened to a LOT of Cranberries.

No matter the cause, I feel awful for her children.

A+ thread titling though.

Thought it might have been a little too dark, but never going to get a chance to use that one again.

It also opens the door for Wlu_lax to cross post in the "worthy of mention" thread

Sinead Marie Bernadette O’Connor is a top 10 vocalist of mine.

The Lion & the Cobra was my go to CD for a couple years before anybody knew who the hell she was.

Not the way I would want to go, but a pretty badass way to go nonetheless.

Since when is that badass? Gonna give Whitney credit too? It's not a swimming pool of liquor.

Compared to dying in your sleep or tripping down a flight of stairs, it's pretty badass. Not as badass as hijacking a helicopter and crash landing it on the Santa Monica Pier or anything, but still not bad.

Knowing of someone who went this way I also skew non-badass. Mostly sad and terrible for whoever finds them.

Depends on if he came or not. I mean, if he did, that's a pretty badass way to go out, IMHO.

Let's say he did. What are the odds he nutted, then blissfully passed out and never woke back up? Isn't it more likely he completed then spent the last minute or so if his life panicking, well aware of what state he was going to be found in. Not badass.
