Texas Southern is no joke. I might take a small flyer on them to beat Xavier.

Sure when you have to travel to Guilford you know the crowd will put the away team at a disadvantage

Someone mentioned this in this thread several days ago, but Texas Southern is one small conference team that pulled no punches with their out-of-conference schedule. All 13 OOC games were road games, 6 were against tournament teams (including Kansas and Gonzaga), and they played 3 other power conference teams. Texas Southern went 0-13 in those games but is 15-6 since then.

They’re tall and fast. It looks like there’s 6 guys on the court. Against inferior competition relative to Xavier of course.

Seeing TXSO +2000 and +2300 at a couple different places. Another shop had it at +2650 before taking it down.

William Hill here in Vegas is only +1600. I might just make a big bet on them +19 and call it good.

Trae Young is great no doubt, but he's a perfect example of the stupidity of the one-and-done rule. He spends so much time playing 1-on-5 that it's not really interesting as a fan and it can't be good for his development.

But if college defenses figured him out, what hope does he have in the NBA? He's got range, but he isn't Curry. HIs handle gets loose from time to time.

I wouldn't say college defenses have figured him out necessarily just saying that I don't know how useful it is for a player to develop at a level where very few of the players he plays with and against have any kind of legitimate pro potential.

Bump! Honestly not sure how Penn got a 16-seed. The Ivies have been pretty competitive over the last decade. I know Harvard, Cornell and Yale have all won tourney games since 2010.

According to Kenpom they're better than 9 other teams in the tournament I think I read.

Order being restored as we speak... Gonzaga squeeks it out, Kansas separating, Duke up double digits.

Random observation - funny to see all these Zaxby's commercials on the broadcast. I'd never heard of them so I looked up their website. Sure enough, their closest restaurant is over 500 miles away from me (in Utah). Not a lot of bang for their buck in California.

Hmmmm. I love bojangles, but the one closest to me is pretty terrible so I didn't think to include it. A normal bojangles is closer to Popeye's than zaxby's.

I found Zaxby's to be bland and overly moist. Wasn't sure if that was just a bad one-off, haven't felt compelled to find out.
