I will be in INdiana thursday for NBA opening day. Might place my first non vegas sports bet.

If you've got money to burn tonight the Timbers are currently at +340 against Seattle, who've they've beaten in 2/3 meetings this season and are missing their best goalscorer and starting CM. (Timbers are also missing Blanco, but they've done fine without him.) Pretty weird line.

Done. I took it for a little less at 0 so a draw doesn't kill me. Also parlayed Timbers +1.5 and Giants +8.5.

I threw a fiver down as well.

I want to take the Giants plus the under tonight but I just can't seem to pull the trigger.

I'm chasing, so I threw $50 at it. Stupid Inter ruined my Wednesday CL 5 team parlay.

Buddy of mine was part of a group that got a preview of Circa today and said the sportsbook is absolutely incredible. You can literally see the sportsbook TV screen from almost anywhere in the casino.

Not sure if the story mentions it, but just the TV screen for the sportsbook cost $20 million.

So I have taken to watching most of the DC United games this year. They have a Caesars logo on the left sleeve of their jerseys and every yellow card is sponsored by Caesars. Well yesterday they announce a deal with FanDuel that includes opening a book at Audi field. DC will get a % of the take from at site bets.

Audi field is still in an emerging area of DC. The housing and restaurants are now connecting Capitol Hill and the Waterfront to the Nats stadium, but there is still a long few blocks to Audi field (still heavy on machine shops, auto repair, etc). When DC was trying to get Ozil to the team and his coffee shop to the stadium I wondered how many people who be there on non-game days. Also wonder if DC United will figure out how to get Nats fans to go to the wrong side of the area on their game days.

I almost took Seattle -9 before the game started for a hefty bet. Glad I laid off that one.

My buddy hit GB -14 on SNF for a cool 500$

Parlayed Bama -19.5 w/OSU-Clem ov 68.5. I think Sabban and Dabo will have their proverbial dicks out and never call the dogs off.

I admit I just wanted to beat you all to the first Swamp gambling post of 2021. Happy New Year!

So VA just allowed gambling via app. Downloaded the wrong fanduel app before getting the sports book app. Figure start easy. Looked at in game option with the caps down 3-0. Did not place the bet because got distracted. 5 goal 2nd probably nwould have made that a big loser. Lucky.

okay figured I would capture my bets here and could be convinced to do a swamp best bet choice on occasion. As you will see, I am clearly playing for big bucks.

So I am 2-0 with 2 best outstanding. Started with 25 units (dollars)
$1 on USA soccer to win $0.11 over T&T
$10 to win 9.09 with the Wizards plus the points last night. Oh this was some promotion where the for every 250 people who took the bet they gave you an extra point. Glad the Wiz did not need them.

Outstanding bets
Caps to make playoffs $1 to win $0.59
Last play of the game is a QB kneel $1 to win $0.56

Current available 31.20

Considering
Leicester over Fulham $1 wins $0.91
Caps +1.5 v. Boston $1 wins $0.44

pulled the trigger on Leister and the Caps.

Also opened up a betMGM account because basically giving free money away.
So a $1 bet on the Chiefs moneyline gets $100 credit (and $25 if the coing toss goes tails) and I had 2 free $50 bets. So I took both sides of the Caps-Boston game for a guaranteed winner.

Remember when the frog had a front page and posts about a small account that went to zero....I do.

first L with the Caps blowing a 3-0 lead. Would have won but the empty netter was the difference (was not thinking about that with a +1.5 spread). But on BetMGM I get a w and l based on my strategy of taking the free money with no risk.

today I added
Man U to win $1 to win $0.45

Considering the MD v. Purdue game but just don't have a tingle with the Terps this year.
