Did something new happen or is this just a standing thought?

Wonder if there is some small print in his contract that he has to remain as an employee to receive previously guaranteed money. A former AD at Syracuse ended up getting "reassigned" and teaching some class at the university after he left the position during the middle of the academic year.

I'm sure that's it in some form or fashion, but even if that's true he could just teach a class like "Intro To Football" or something like that. Teaching character and leadership?

You all know my allegiances. But I just don't find this to be all that offensive or mind-bending. It's not like pushing Durkin out and then reassigning him to teach first aid and CPR classes. Or like having Dantonio teach a class on ethics in the workplace. Or digging up JoePa and having him teach a class on childhood development. Or...

So, yes to having to have a university job to collect some outstanding money. Wonder how quickly they tacked on this job after the backlash to his "teaching" job hit.

Sucks for the actual athletic director because he’s gotta know he’s gonna lose the job the Meyer any day now.

I dunno. I think Durkin being asked to teach CPR in light of what happened is rather on point, considering Meyers failed to hold himself to the standard of what a true leader of men would seek to uphold..You know, when it mattered most. Ethics define a man by his actions when nobody is watching. And woooh boy does he lack them.

There’s a deliciously pathetic irony in all of it.
