Surprised UEFA allowed a Premier League game to be played at the same time as a Premier League game, don't usually allow that.

Not liking Man U's chances of scoring three goals in a half to advance.

The other tie is even at the half. Ajax got their away goal and Juve is now very nervous as one more away goal against might be too much. to come back from. Will probably go to extra time.

I'm guessing it's because it was impossible to avoid

(they had switched the order of the Man U-Barca tie because of the UEFA rules)

That's the one I'm watching, but it's only available in Spanish (that I can find). Fortunately, we get a zillion Spanish channels. Juve's keeper just likely saved their bacon with an incredible save.

it is kinda crazy that as a Directv subscriber I can get both CL games in Spanish but just one in English and the other is on the BR live app

(side note: I would pay $5 extra a month if I could pull up all the streaming services like BRL and ESPN+ from my directv box. ESPN already had some stuff you can watch via ESPN3 but not everything)

They were the better team today no doubt. They were dangerous as hell, especially on counter-attack. Juve could have given up 4 goals in that second half alone.

Being a pessimist means that if (or when) Spurs go down 3-0 today I won't be terribly disappointed.

But man, if they score early, my head might explode.

Waiting to see the XI before I decide how I feel. Pep seems to have a tendency to way overthink the lineup and strategy in the rare times they're playing from a chase position like this.

Sane on the bench feels like a defensive position. Kompany over Stones makes me unhappy.

I don't know why Tottenham couldn't have worn white shirts, blue shorts and white socks

I don’t particularly care about either of these teams but I hope there’s another goal because the away goals rule is perhaps the worst rule in sports. Completely arbitrary way to decide a two-game tie.

The "irony" is I read a twitter argument once the XI came out defending the Kompany decision because "he's far superior in the air" to Stones.
