And nothing to do with Ken T but my observation that your random flight between LA and Vegas is going to have the worst people in the world on it is again confirmed.

I'd wager (ha!) almost every flight in and out of McCarron has the worst people in the world on it.

I haven't been to Vegas in a while, but the flights from Toronto would be full of 10 a.m. drunks. But happy drunks. The flights home tended to be grim affairs.

My last flight to Vegas had the IMG Academy Football team on it. That was a different brand of worst than most Vegas trips, but still not good. I love trips to Vegas, but they really bring out the American id.

I'm at a wedding in Taos for friends of mine and my gf.

The father of the bride's sister in law (brother's wife) is Lurch from the 90s Addams Family movies.

Dude's 70 and is feeling the complications of age + being 7' tall. I don't want to bother him for pics.

Also Michael's Kitchen was really good. Had the breakfast enchiladas and the red chile was excellent.

Saw Noel Fielding in the Modern Tate museum in London.

Would have asked for a pic, but he was the family, so didn't want to impose. Impressed that he was rocking very red cowboy boots and some over the top sun glasses.

Also, watch The Might Boosh.
Did you see that ludicrous display last night?

Corey Hirsch came through my line when I was a cashier at Wegmans, right after he was stamperized at the Olympics. I was respectful and said nothing.

So Steve Nash was in town doing some promo stuff for DAZN in the pub where Toronto Spurs meet for every game. (Nash is a massive Tottenham fan).

Members of Toronto Spurs were invited - a real last minute thing, invites went out Monday night and the shoot was this afternoon. Anyway, he may be the nicest celebrity/athlete I have ever met. True, a mellow atmosphere where he could talk soccer with maybe 20 guys (and my daughter!), but he stayed for a couple of hours and signed everything, shot video messages for guys and just generally seemed happy to be amongst friends.

I introduced him to my daughter and said that when she played point guard in junior high and high school, she patterned her game after him. Half joking (she is pretty short) but he seemed touched and then spoke to her for a while about basketball. The girl seemed to be floating she was so excited.

So anyway, even if he weren't a Spurs fan... still a really cool guy!

Totally, he always seems like the most real, down to earth guy, and genuinely happy talking to fans. Seen a bunch of videos of him playing pickup soccer games in New York, and hanging out joking with onlookers afterwards.

We thought he was in the corner by the DAZN tv lights, but he walked into the Pub with a couple of DAZN folks, and my daughter and I just happened to be closest to the door. I smiled and nodded and he walked up to me and stuck out his hand and said "Hi, I'm Steve."

I introduced myself and my daughter and he thanked us both by name for coming out. It really seemed like he was happy to be there.
