The Senate race was listed first in Florida. The instructions were just so long (relatively speaking) that it was on the bottom half of the page on the left hand side where governor was second column right at the top.

Just in Broward or all of Florida? Only the former would make sense.

I think it was different county by county. My MIL mentioned not remembering seeing Gillum's name after she voted.

Broward. I saw the ballot on the tweeter last night. Can't find that tweet though otherwise would post it here.

Well, I hadn't unfriended someone over politics for awhile.

That felt good, too. Guy tried to take it onto Messenger, which he's done before, and I basically said "I'm not reading what you just wrote. Own the fact that supporting Trump is supporting a racist or fuck off."

He wrote back an even longer thing, which again I didn't read, and I just said "I see you can't own. Fuck. Off."

I uninstalled anything Facebook/Messenger from my phone. (Not Instagram though) I don't need it draining my battery. I'll log in every now and then just to remind myself that being away from it is the best thing I've ever done.

I did notice on last login that a dude I quietly deleted because he's a Trump supporter and military member wants to add me back as a friend. Nope. Go away.

Not that it's all that interesting, but where else can I dump this shit:

This guy is one of these assholes that is ABSOLUTELY a Trump supporter, and I see him popping off with Fox News-inspired bullshit on other people's posts. But when he comes around me, he tries to use the higher brow deflection tactics that is provided to his ilk by the Breitbart's of the world. The stuff where they use personal anecdotes and false information/numbers to bolster their point.

I've just had it with this motherfucker. He was one of those assholes saying "well, wouldn't it be a GOOD thing if we had better relations with Russia?" in the early days. Fuck off with that shit.

So, today, I just stuck with forcing him to hear that supporting Trump = supporting racism. I'm done with these fucking people. Suppressing the vote, scare tactics about voter fraud. The fucking absolutely transparent racist bullshit with The Caravan (Invasion.) The entire crusade about the NFL and kneeling. Racist Racist Racist.

Just over people like him trying to be fake civil, when I KNOW THESE FUCKING PEOPLE. They are racist and will let you know after they down a whiskey or two. Put it in the bank.

Interestingly enough, the wife is out of town so I decided to go up to the bar closest to my house (which I seldom go to -- it's alright but they were doing a $500 free play drawing -- WHICH I WON) so said fuck it and decided to go up there and watch the Knights game.

So I'm keeping to myself watching hockey and playing video poker and not interacting with anyone and these two MAGA assholes start talking to each other and it was fascinating to hear how these people really think when they don't think anyone is listening or don't have to worry about putting on their "human" face. (This was after the game once the sound was off BTW.)

Hilariously one of the things they agreed is that they like Trump but "wish he would just shut the fuck up on Twitter". I hear that a lot from those folks really. Of course, I suspect the truth is they really like that they think he's constantly "owning the libs" and gaslighting the country on Twitter, but whatever.

They're going off on the NFL players for being "ungrateful" and a whole bunch other quasi-racist stuff. One of the guys was an Iraq vet and threw out the Fox News line about how Trump really cares about the troops yadda yadda which is bullshit of course since he's never once visited any troops in a war zone unless every other president ever. (That aside led to a really funny story where the vet just ripped Toby Keith a new one up and down for being a fancy-boy prima donna who needed "extra" protection on base while doing a USO show.)

Anyway, just interesting the lengths these people have to go through to hide and justify their racism, paranoia and ignorance. I wouldn't want to deal with it. It really must be exhausting.

Anosognosia. Makes me go apeshit. Argued with my mother when I visited Boston back in August. She was blathering about how Democrats are letting illegals flood into America to vote and that they need to get over Trump and I snapped at her. "Can you prove that Democrats are doing that? And exactly how can illegal immigrants vote? Please help me out with that." Crickets, and a glare.

"Also, I had to listen for 8 years about how a Kenyan born socialist Muslim terrorist was going to impart Sharia law and take my guns. So deal with Trump getting appropriately taken down and spare me your bullshit." Immediate response: "I can't believe you talk to your own mother like this." I seriously wanted to punch her in the face.

In other news: Sinema widened her lead in Arizona. Republicans who were suing to force Arizona to stop counting votes reversed course and are trying to make sure every vote is counted. Oh, hypocrites.

Also, GOP Rep. Denham falls behind Democrat as 3 other Republicans lose ground in Friday's ballot tally
If historical voting patterns hold, Republicans will lose all four of those seats. More than 50,000 votes have yet to be counted in each contest, analysts in both parties estimate, and the votes tallied latest in California nearly always skew Democratic.

I had to restrain myself from replying 'Did he bring his fake medals with him'? Or something along the lines of 'Did you ask him about all the people who died in his jail?'

you thought widespread spelling changing of names was taking place by people to make their own names more unique (and thus be forced to spell out every time)?

I didn't realize that Kyl was only a temp fill until the end of the year. Putting McSally in the vacated seat would be what my friend in Arizona says is the "most Arizona political move possible."

I wish Democrats fielded a competent opponent to Ducey.

Edit:

She sure sounds kinda chipper in this video.
