So it's probable and likely that he wants to be progressive on issues genuinely and involve women at high political positions, but it doesn't feel that way because of his past and the current climate right now.

I really don't care if you get mad at me for that.
Not mad at you. I just don't consider it pandering. Maybe that's a step I'm missing, but I'm fully on board with as many elected women as possible.

I'll be happy if he surprises me and picks Warren. In the more likely event that it's Harris or Klobuchar, I'll be disappointed. I find both of them to be very uninspiring -- particularly given the magnitude of the challenges that the next administration will face and the not-so remote possibility that Biden's VP will have to step into the top job.

I completely agree that more women in positions of power would be better for the nation. And I too would love Warren as Veep (and she could basically dual hat as Treasury Secretary instead of a placeholder like a typical Veep).

I'm simply talking optics. Like, Hillary Clinton could've always kept hot sauce in her purse her entire life. But when did she decide to tell everyone? On the Breakfast Club when being interviewed by Charlamagne Tha God. That makes people roll their eyes.

On the bright side for a subset of Dems, pretty soon Hillary won't have the ignominy of having lost the easiest election ever.

Reality Has Endorsed Bernie Sanders.

Unfortunately, the wisdom of the crowd determined Biden was the safe, electable choice against Trump. Americans are Very Smart™.

Who knew relying on a voter bloc that never turns out for elections would be a bad strategy?!

Keep running with this dementia talk, guys. Makes the whole Bernie Bro myth so much harder to believe!

No one gives a shit what I, Johnnie or Mr. D post on this message board. But Joe Rogan is hardly a "Bernie Bro" and he has an enormous audience. And the fact that he's saying stuff like that further confirms that the Biden decline is a real issue.

Believing the Bernie Bro idea in the first place is already self defeating. But please, keep trying to speak it into existence.

Can we start an all-encompassing list of things people aren't really disputing about Biden but that we're not allowed to talk about but also totally won't be effectively used against him in the general? Should be great to look back on.

Last night, Andrew Cuomo's own brother asked him on primetime CNN about the possibility of him stepping in for Biden. And yet, we're supposed to believe that it's only "Bernie Bros" who think Biden might not be up for the job. It's pretty obvious that it's being framed that way so that Bernie gets blamed if Biden implodes in the general.

Short of major health issue no one is stepping in for anyone. Not sure an extremely interested family member is reflective of the public. Nevermind that CNN continues to validate Trump's criticism on a daily basis. That crap ceased to be news a while ago.

Yeah, I mean it's not like we're in the middle of a global pandemic where best case scenario is 100k deaths according to a guy who hasn't been right about anything this entire disaster and who most assuredly has blood on his hands because of whatever mix of ignorance and narcissism. Let's try to make a big deal about how Biden flubs his words and spread conspiracy theories about him having dementia. I'm sure Bernie will catch on to the masses in 2024!

Let's just expose both Bernie and Biden to COVID-19 and whichever survives gets the nomination. Like a cage match. No complaining about the outcome either way.

Yup. If you watch the 2008 or 2012 VP debates, or any of Biden's floor speeches from his decades in the Senate, he was a very confident and smooth extemporaneous speaker. Now he often struggles to even follow along with a teleprompter or with annotated notes during friendly TV interviews. It's incredible that the Democratic Party thinks this won't be patently obvious to undecided voters during the general election campaign.

Yeah theres politically driven agendas then there's the reality that Biden is losing it. Just it's not that bad and dude at 60% awareness is better than the current guy or Bernie, cause then we get the orange guy again. I'd go Cuomo but that ship has sailed. Pretty clear he's going to ride virus horse to a run at the white house. Bet Biden wished he wouldn't have made a snap decision to run a woman on the ticket. This guy looking way better than those options.

Ideologically, Biden is like Eugene Debs compared to Cuomo. Bernie tried to primary him with an actress from Sex In The City a little more than a year ago for everyone with short memories.

That's not the conspiracy theory. Unless you think the only explanation for someone not being as sharp as they age can only be explained by an armchair doctor prognosis of dementia.

Outside of a couple of the debates (he was OK?), I haven't seen him speak much this year. I've been working under the assumption that some of the clips I've seen of him are cherrypicked (duh) to make him look bad (duh), but the ones like that one above are just deflating.
