You should add. "I don't have one, but wouldn't mind getting one."

I went with "Think Badly of people," but that is for a small percentage of plates. For the most part, I don't care, but when I see a douchey one, I think badly of the person.

More downside than upside for sure.

(I think this is related: In high school or maybe college summers there were a few times we’d find an especially dumb bumper sticker, buy it then sneak to someone’s house and put it on their car. (And truthfully that would still be funny to me today.))

As a person whose first call was a Dodge Aires Station Wagon (k car baby) that was his sister and had many bumper stickers not of his choosing.....that is just mean.....

Saw a couple on base recently:

'TACOGNG'

'ZOMBI' on a "Choose Life" plate.

I would have got 'YWFMS' on a veteran plate if it wasn't already claimed.

Once upon a time I wanted NVWSSV because read upside down it's "assman." (And yes I'm aware of the recent story from that dude from Canada.)

I'm the only one, huh? Never really planned on having one, and it started as a joke in our house. But I did get a Doctor Who themed plate for the car I got last fall.

There are 20+ in the state of Colorado.

I'm a fan of the classic white/green CO plate so wouldn't get one for that reason. (I could get a classic car plate for my camper van, but have to shell out 5 years of registration fees, and the plates are ugly IMHO.) My wife looked into getting an alumni plate and they are stupid expensive.
Did you see that ludicrous display last night?

Are they? I just stuck with the white/green personalized plate. It was only $50.

Someone putting a bumper sticker on my car might be grounds for murder.

Upon college graduation I took a job in a horrible small town in the plains of southeastern Colorado. So did a couple other recent graduates, and we all regretted it almost immediately. The three of us were roommates and all quit (except the one guy who got fired) within months of taking the jobs. We all hated everything about that town. So, after the first guy quit, I visited the local Chamber of Commerce building the day before he left and picked up one of the bumper stickers they gave away that promoted the town with some hokey booster slogan. Without his knowledge (obviously) I put it on the back bumper of his car the morning he peeled out and left town. He phoned me with some choice words (and laughter) the next day.

Well I guess she exaggerated...$50 with a Alumni Association membership, but it might be the membership that was the $$. She's also saver so anything more than 25$ is "expensive."

Gators, for those of us who don’t know the show, it could look like you’re a super un-PC dude who maybe doesn’t think much of your kid.

The thought crossed my mind, to be honest... but I've had a surprising number of people comment on it, in a positive way.
