While the article did not specify when the kid turned 18, they said the acts took place in May and June of 2014. If the kid was 18 when the acts took place (which is how the article reads), couldn't they just have waited until, say, two seconds after the graduation ceremony was over?

Right, which is why I inquired about if the kid was 18 at the time of the acts and, if so, why not wait a relatively short amount of time for him to graduate and get rid of potential issues like this (not to say anyone other than the kid would be nominating her Teacher of the Year, but she would have avoided being arrested).

Not really excited to be posting about that side of the coin, but more wondering the insistence on her being stupid about it.

Good luck with those taxes. Cute town, though. The gays moved out from Park Slope, Brooklyn about 10 years ago to start raising kids. Always a great thing for a town or neighborhood. The school district has a lot of issues due to combining with South Orange. I have 3 friends who teach in the district, if you ever want to get an inside scoop.
