I'm sure I'm not the only person who didn't expect to see Chelsea ahead of Man City at this point of the season, but here we go. The young kids are really starting to play well (particularly with Kante finally back).

I'm torn on this.

A great Manager who led the team to dizzying heights.

And who has also clearly lost the dressing room. 25 points from the last 24 games is Sunderland level results.

But a change now? I tell you, it had better not be Mourinho.

I'm going to lie down now...

When you've got a chance to secure the best Argentinian footballer on the market, you've got to move fast.

My real life soccer friend text group is a Tottenham fan and an Arsenal fan and the weeks of "ha, you're going to get Mourinho" to the Arsenal fan came to a screeching halt today.

Rumours have it...

The Spurs sites are full of so much anger, you'd think they were Pats fans.

Thought this was a good piece from the Grauniad too.

Herd on a Spurs podcast today that it was a real "I won;t quit, you'll have to fire me" situation and that Pocchetino really, really wanted to leave.

No real surprise there.

Team is lucky the game is at West Ham, the fans would be liable to boo everyone, Levy, Mourinho and a whole bunch of the players (Rose, Alderweireld, Ericksen, Vertonghen).

The sun is shining and Spurs actually played like they gave a shit. (95th minute goal flattered West Ham).

What I am most thankful for this year, is Jose Mourinho was off the market. Even if Arsenal won titles with him, I would still hate the hire.

That's pretty much what Spurs did on the weekend.

One of the many things that I don't like about Spurs signing Mourinho is that a small part of me feels duty-bound to laugh at the Man U fans who will be booing the hell out of him on Wednesday.

Son of a bitch!

That's funny, but Spurs fans are in a shitty mood. Another flat performance on the weekend and the honeymoon might be over.

Gotta say that during the City/United game it was strange seeing the Premier League's "Rainbow Laces" (pro LGBTQ) messages on the ad hoardings immediately after ads for travel to Abu Dhabi where gay sex is punishable by up to 14 years in jail.

Made it easier to cheer for United.

Chelsea’s defense is shit. Good thing their transfer ban was lifted so they can overpay for mediocre defenders this winter.

Yeah, a lot of youth back there with Zouma, Tomori, Christensen, and James. And Azpilicueta's age has caught up to him. He's still very technically sound, but he can't run with fast wings any more. The young guys are all talented and promising, but they don't always play well together.

How big of a coaching fuck up is Arsenal conceding with 10 men when Kolasinac had to come off?

Was wondering that too. I know the guy on the bench was not ready to play. So how much time to warm him up, get his shinguards on, legs moving, etc. In the winter you have to guess going from bench to full field pace without a warm up could be bad too.
