I don't know if its better if you're the guy who donated to our first "keep the Swamp going" drive in 2011 who had only lurked (although your screen name is different than what that person said would have been theirs) or not.

Welcome. Sort of?

Are you using the Attachments button? If so there is some limit and I’ve had to use an app to change the size of pictures to post that way. Or you can try uploading to like imgur or something and grab and post the link from there.

If you are working from an Apple, you just just change the file size in Preview (Tools, Adjust Size, reduce to 640x480 should work).

I’ll keep trying! The “puppy pic” might be a bit of a misnomer. He’s a 5 month old Newfoundland and seems to grow daily

The pups name is Maximus (Max). He’s a good boy that’s still coming to terms with his size (loves to play with puppies at the dog park and sometimes doesn’t realize why they don’t want to reciprocate)

That might be the greatest first post ever.

Would have been better with a puppy pic.

Which I now see. I love Newfies. We were at a park on a lake watching people train a couple of Newfoundlands to jump off a boat and rescue swimmers. It was amazing to watch. How big does your vet think he's going to be? And welcome, I can't imagine lurking for 15 years and not giving in to the urge to go off on one of us at some point.

The vet thinks we are looking at anywhere between 120-160 lbs but who knows, I just know he’s going to be a big boy.
Why did I lurk so long? I’m not sure. I guess an apt corollary is my use of twitter; I’ll read tweets all day but have no interest in providing any myself

Good point, I’ve never written a Tweet, now it makes sense. I lurked for about a month before posting here. It felt like jumping on a treadmill at 12mph.

Well, there's the easy answer to how to post pics on here. Post them to Twitter, and then post a link to your tweet here.
