He may have only played one game for the Patriots, but give credit to Belichick for doing what he knew he had to do to beat the Dolphins.

Julian Edelman has a drug suspension and an arrest for sexual assault, but he’s a warrior who shows up in Superbowls, and that’s what’s most important.

Is it wrong to root against Witten specifically because he was so terrible in the booth last year (and ESPN jammed him down our throats)?

Before Brissett for Dorsett, what trade worked this well for both teams?

At what point when you’re down 23-0 at New England does the rest of the game become no-punt territory? If you’re the Jets it’s not halfway through the 3Q.

I have to kind of put the brakes on anointing Brissett on a basis of a couple great games against subpar defenses. It’s obviously good news for Indy but c’mon.

What’s the statute of limitations on NFL people still thinking Adam Gase is a good coach based on that one good year calling plays for an absolutely stacked offense in Denver?

At various points in the last couple of years we’ve see the media appoint Trubisky and Garopololololol as the future of the QB position which I mean...lol, right?

Same with dorsett and easier to say in the second half. But yeah. Fair trade. Probably as much in terms of areas of need than talent though. Teams probably need to work out arrangements with teams for trades like this when inevitable injuries happen.

I'm not smart with the football, but as I understood, it was to preserve the game clock at 2:01 because the returner would immediately signal a fair catch to prevent getting steamrolled.

Wouldn’t it have just made more sense to boom the kickoff through the end zone then?

Earlier this week, it dawned on me that there may be potential upside in the Dolphins' tanking - the Bears could possibly trade for Rosen on the cheap. I had previously started to wonder if the Bears will spend the second rounder they got from the Raiders in the Khalil Mack trade on a QB in April.

Except that, the goal is also to you know, retain whatever small chance there is to recover a muffed kick (since this was at 2:01 left in the game, not the first half). So kicking it through the end zone would make about as much sense as going for 2 at three different times throughout the game.
