It worked out, but I have no idea why the hell Indianapolis settled for a 52-yard FG there as bad as Vinateri has been this year.

I get there's a World Series game in a few hours, but still a pretty grim turnout for the Texans game (at kickoff at least).
Yes, we are fucking stuck with the Raiders game here. Having a team in your home market sucks ass when you don't like them.

Agreed.
also the chargers deserved to lose after their botching the last drive but the bears kicking juju is too strong.

Lawrence Guy with the greatest interception ever just a minute ago. Hilarious.

Matching the dolphins loss for loss. Good day for the bengals. Especially with Washington, Atlanta and jets being so resolutely awful too.

A couple weeks ago, I got the Bills/Jets/Giants trifecta. That was a slice of heaven. Three, in fact.

Spurs/Bills/Browns
What a fucking day.
Remember when the Browns were 9-1 to win the AFC? It was 7 weeks ago. Currently at 50-1 and they are absolute garbage.

Down 3 scores in the 4th with about 6 minutes left, Kitchens sends his punt team out who takes a delay of game. Sideline reporter explained that Kitchens wanted to go for it but didn't want to waste a timeout (he already wasted one on a really bad second half challenge). Needless to say, they didn't convert on 4th and 16. I thought the Brown's run game looked really good.

Both his challenges were idiotic. Guy has no business being a head coach - yet another in a long line of overmatched Browns coaches.EdRomero wrote: ↑Sun Oct 27, 2019 10:26 pmDown 3 scores in the 4th with about 6 minutes left, Kitchens sends his punt team out who takes a delay of game. Of course those bums can't do the right thing and trade Green to a real team, so instead they're just going to let him walk for nothing.

Dalton benched. Wonder what playoff calibre team could use a QB.
Did you see that ludicrous display last night?

Re: NFL Week 8 - The Vikings and Redskins don't matter
The Bears could use him. He's absolutely an upgrade on Trubisky.
Re: NFL Week 8 - The Vikings and Redskins don't matter
Agree. And the price would be relatively low on Dalton I'd think given his contract and age. Not sure the Bears could get him under the cap though.tennbengal wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2019 12:47 pm The Bears could use him. He's absolutely an upgrade on Trubisky.
ETA: His age and contract are not really that bad for a starting QB, just pointing out that it's tough for a lot of teams at this point to absorb a $16M cap hit.

Bears have 17 mil in cap space according to OverTheCap, so they good.

Agreed on upgrade, but still a pass. They've already given away plenty of future draft picks.tennbengal wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2019 12:47 pm The Bears could use him. He's absolutely an upgrade on Trubisky.

Re: NFL Week 8 - The Vikings and Redskins don't matter
The Bengals have announced they're benching Dalton for rookie Ryan Finley. They'll be cutting him in the offseason (no dead money after this season), so no point in investing a pick in him to try to salvage this year.
By the way, Nagy's offense that comes from Andy Reid needs a mobile QB to work its best. Dalton is not that.

Yep you can look forward to at least 3 more years of dying on Trubisky Hill. Way too much locked into that to cut bait.DSafetyGuy wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2019 1:31 pmAgreed on upgrade, but still a pass. One, plus team option on his rookie deal. But, it's been a series of trades that have sent picks out of town, not just the fucking trade to move up one fucking spot to take him.BSF21 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2019 4:48 pmYep you can look forward to at least 3 more years of dying on Trubisky Hill. At first you think it’s cruel to bench a guy on his birthday, but honestly feels like that’d be a great birthday present.
