Bears' Mitchell Trubisky wants Halas Hall TVs off to shield criticism.

Perhaps better play could also ward off the critics.

How many attempts until he actually gets close enough to the power button to be successful?

If it's set up anything like my office, all the tvs are controlled from a single location that IT protects. No remotes at the individual TVs.

Bumping due to my excitement over getting to choose between the 1pm Eastern games of Giants-Jets and Browns-Bills.

Today will always be remembered for the legendary debut of Ryan Finley...

I’ve literally never heard of the guy starting for Stafford today.

If my team isn't in it, I'm rooting for a KC/Baltimore AFCC.

And if that team faces the 49ers in the Super Bowl, I wouldn't be mad about it.

(But I'd be rooting for the 49ers because they're my girlfriend's team.)

ETA

Lol. And minutes after that post the KC offense puts the ball on the ground and Tennessee returns it for a defensive touchdown.

I should delete my Twitter.

He got his first pick 6 out of the way.

Is 1-7 beating 7-1 the largest difference ever?

The Battle of New York today has been surprisingly not terrible.

Minus the high snap and subsequent TD they gave up, the Steelers look sharp.

Red Zone switched away from what ended up being a Goff fumble and Steelers TD in real-time to show what ended up being a timeout in GB. Should have doubled boxed that man!

Just once I want to see a ref do the "I Dream of Jeanie" dance when making the safety signal.

Bills-Browns is a guarantee of the absolute worst that the NFL has to offer.

They were making up for triple boxing when the Chiefs were trying to tie the game with a field goal. In one box, players were standing around and in the third box the Browns and Bills were doing whatever they do.

I totally expected Goff to turn it over before that final drive.

When the play works as designed, he throws absolute dimes. When it doesn't and/or pressure gets home he melts down. Basically whenever he has to figure it out himself.

I'm pretty sure the interception to Haden was a "wait what the fuck that guy is supposed to be open" throw.

Colts/Dolphins was the worst football game I've watched in a long time.

I know the Colts were without their top...checking notes...6 or so guys, but ffs.

You clearly didn't see the Browns-Bills game.

I'm looking forward to tonight's game for pool reasons, but also to re-affirm in my mind that the NFL can put on a good show once in a while.

Last night's game was pretty good as well.

0-9, Burrow looked amazing, Tua given his ankle issue did as well, Jets and falcons and dolphins all won - that’s the best football weekend I have had as a bengals fan easily in over a year.

Just giving you some shit after your great weekend, man. If there's one thing us Lions/Bengals/Browns fans have to remind each other of is that even if things go well somehow, the comeuppance will be right around the corner.

Both Tua and particularly Burrow are in the Mariota/Mayfield category where every WR is so wide open that it can be hard to really form an opinion on their NFL prospects. Both (also particularly Burrow) also have a habit of tossing up dangerous throws to WRs on the sideline and those WRs just go up and decide that they are all going to be receptions.

That's fair, though you could also say the same thing about Patrick Mahomes.

Burrow lighting up Alabama, auburn and Florida defenses though - that’s a set of Ds full of premium and likely MSJ day talent.

49ers not using any clock on their last possession was a big mistake. Gotta run at least once. Seahawks had no timeouts.

They could/should have locked in a point there (in hockey terms).

Was 4.4pts down going into last night with only SF D against my opponent with only Russ. Hell of a game in those circumstances and was in doubt all the way up to the end. Needed a break because I haven’t gotten many lately.

Can't decide if this is a fantasy football lament or a ghosts in the woods lament.
