Received.

Anyone else want/need a confirmation of receipt?
I got one from Paypal, too, but my 2011 payment didn't get noted on your spreadsheet, so I don't know what to think.

A bargain at twice the price!
It arrived yesterday. I would like to commend you on the high-quality embossment on your buck slip. I also have questions.

1. Do you normally just hold onto whatever US currency since you go to the occasional US-based sporting event/game show taping?

2. In episode 242, why did you choose to have Jett do the poi dance with Peter and Hine instead of Flip? You could have had Sky join Jerome in coming to help rescue the sheep.

All -

Does anyone else anticipate donating in the immediate future (say, this week)? I need to move a couple Venmo donations and a PayPal to another account over and am just wondering if I should hold off since I would prefer to only do it once.

1. Yes - down to my last $3.

2. I only worked on the first couple of seasons - aka "The Golden Era of Paw Patrol."

Also, I have a few of those cards - my sister in D.C. gave me a bunch - pretty sure she grabbed them during a White House function years ago.

If I had to confirm receipt via mail, I would send the note back on a sheet from an Academy Awards notepad.

I used to have a couple of pads of notepaper from the US Senate. (Stolen from Carl Levin's office!)

Based on the timestamps of some old emails, it seems the time of donating to keep the Swamp afloat is here. To describe the current status...

Current Swamp PayPal account balance: $299.06
Fees for hosting the Swamp from 2020-2022, listed in order by year: $266.73, $293.40, $322.74

I don't know what the current cost will be (Shirley should be receiving a copy of the charge/receipt in the next couple weeks), but I am guessing it will not be decreasing. As such, this is the part when I solicit for donations. If you read back through the thread, we last did this four years ago and brought in over $1,250, which kept things running during that time.

To donate:
PayPal - SwampDSafe at the googles
Venmo - @Jim-
Stechschulte (no space)

If you need to make arrangement for another method of payment, just let me know. If you have any questions, let me know.

If one of the admins could please temporarily sticky this thread, that would be great.

Thank you.

The average donation, both this time, as well as in 2019, is around $45.

It was. To clarify, the screen name is first name, hyphen, last name with no spaces, etc. My mediocre picture is there too (standard mugshot).

Funny and not really surprising, upon a moment of reflection, that there are some competitive people here.

There can’t be that many people with your surname, can there? (Anybody with mine is definitely a fairly close relation.)

Not that I was looking to use my name as my twitter handle when I signed up, but I couldn't get it because a guy of the same name ran for the Michigan House of Representatives.

He lost.

Yeah, I am pretty much stunned when I see it outside of the town where my dad lives (there's about a dozen in the phone book, many of whom I do not know). That said, their director of marketing for Drake's Brewing in your neck of the woods has the same last name.

Yep, used to get invited to a monthly office happy hour at Drakes. Our HQ was walking distance to the brewery.
