In this case, would "you fucking Browns suck" really be considered a slur?

Ugh is right.

All I'm going to say for now is that he really did just prior to the helmet swing, as that ESPN report suggests, then it's got to be on video.

Also, this thread title is great.

Easily my favorite aspect of Spygate. Even more than it serving as a second invalidation of the Patriot dynasty.

Thought of a "your mom" and "garbage banger" combo for the Astros cheating scandal but forgot about until now.

Godwin and Evans are having a borderline historic season as a WR duo and the Bucs might not win five games. And it's not like Jameis has to be that much better, just two turnovers a game instead of four.

If the Bengals aren’t careful here they might fuck up and win a game.

So Mason Rudolph will probably be suspended for the rest of the season by his own team.

I must say, I am "enjoying" this Bills season - after all, the last time they were 8-3 I was still single.

But man, their games are so dull.

Finley is still at QB and green still nursing his eternal injury , so , all good on the tanking front.

Aikman may not have kicked a field goal there, but he must not have the Cowboys +6.

Learn to love it. Decent chance 12-4 with a win in NE gets them a bye.

Oh, I'm loving it... but the games are pretty poor.

But winning ugly is a hell of a lot better than losing close, exciting games. (Or as is usually the case with the bills, losing boring games)

And the AFC does suck, so I can dare to dream for a bit.

(Season ends @ Dallas, Baltimore, @ Pittsburgh, @ N.E., Jets.)

I'm calling 10-6.

Blue Bombers win the Grey Cup for the first time since 1990, though by beating the snot out of my Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

I'm calling 12-4. Only loss is to NE. Cowboys are frauds and Ravens are beatable on the road.

So there may have been one second left on the clock because a Marine tried to catch a ball on the sideline rather than letting it hit the ground and I may have said "fuck supporting the troops."

How DARE that military member wear his MILITARY SERVICE DRESS at a public event. I bet he dropped that football ON PURPOSE when Tom Brady called him "Mr. VanDalinda." Vindictive VanDalinda is the Deflator's handler.

Nah. Brady failed to take into account that of course a bystander’s going to try and catch that ball. He probably needed to take another step back before uncorking it.

I openly admit to being biased and full of hate where Brady/Belichek are concerned but...why the fuck didn't they trot out Folk to try a FG from the 15yd line?? It would have killed the clock make or miss. It would have padded Folk's stats and making it a 7 point outcome is hardly running up the score. On top of that it turned out to be the wrong call. And an unnecessary one.

My hatred found a new level for those two because I had taken Pats -5.5 before the game for $110 and took them at halftime -4.5 -125 for $125. 'Cause Brady at home, Cowboys suck, and Brady would keep driving to "fix" the offense. Until the offense had its worst half since the Super Bowl. I said lots of very bad words at the bar I was at.

Bad snap, bad whatever could lead to a turnover and return. Teams will almost always run out the clock rather than try a FG in the best of weather.

I don't think there was anything wrong with what the Patriots did on that last play. There was 5 seconds left, and they tried to lob it up to kill those 5 seconds. It was the closest option to zero downside risk they could've done in that situation; it just didn't work as intended.

They did the same thing in Arena League (RIP) because a quarter had to end during a play and not between downs. I think Canadian football has a similar rule.

The Ravens offense in general and their run game in particular are absolutely terrifying at this point in time.

Jerry Jones is concerned about Garrett now? He's about a decade too late.
