There are only 5-6 guys who I have never heard of, so I think the true baseball heads may know some of the names, even if not where they were born.

ETA: Only three states leader has less than 100 home runs, and one of them (Plantier) has been guessed.

I knew it was one of the two and if I guess the wrong one, someone else could have jumped in.

No on schilling, but that's one that I only have the vaguest memory of and may indeed be not the person I am thinking of at all. There's still a few more big names out there so I will give it some time until after lunch then maybe provide some clues.

ETA: At least five not guessed were active at least as recently as 2018.
