While I don't think it's his preferred strategy, I think Jennings can run with Holzhauer due to his buzzer skills. Rutter probably the most knowledgable of all, however.

Can Jennings still buzz in like he did in his prime? Sometimes the years can do bad things to the thumb.

He addressed this on Omnibus! some time ago before they announced the GOAT tourney and he said exactly that. Thinks he has the knowledge to run with Holtzhauer but worries that he's just not as fast as he was 15 years ago when he made his run. He's got a point. I really think you could run this game 100 times with some of the greats and it comes out 30/30/30 with the extra 10 to whomever hits a DD at the right time or gets a FJ category they just aren't familiar with.

The three part before and after questions on the first night were awesome. I did pause the TV to give myself a chance, because those are so fun. But when you have no clue what the first part is even referring to, it's impossible. In usual Jeopardy games, I can guess when I don't know things for sure, but in this game, I've never even heard of half the artists, scientists or whatever in the questions or answers. Then they have a question about Fuller House...

I am really enjoying the camaraderie and attempts at humor from all 3 players.

This leads me to a something I was curious about (I haven't seen any of it, so it certainly could have been mentioned).

I was wondering if there is a financial guarantee for their appearance since this event is a non-traditional show. Perhaps something like they can take home whatever they win during game play, but they get "X" for just agreeing to come back, leading it to be a more fun event rather than a more cutthroat competition.

They're all guaranteed $250,000 in explicit prize money but don't know if they negotiated any kind of "appearance fee" as well. Even if you assume they're playing for "only" $750K, banking an automatic $250K for a few days of work isn't bad.

I won't speak for Turd or Pru, but I'm watching them realizing this is a whole different game. I don't know if I would've beaten them to buzz in correct more than a half-dozen times combined these four games. If getting on is like making an undercard on Fox Friday Night Boxing, this is like watching Ali, Louis, and Marciano trading haymakers.
