I read an article today discussing just that. It's really gross.

Apparently being white and related is perfectly fine for procreating, but not if it's mixed race. I was always kinda pissed that Brits had to subsidize the Royal family's lifestyle over some bullshit legacy nonsense. Could've used that money to fix their teeth.

But reading comments Meghan is getting, some people deserve that look.

British tabloids are insane and the people love it.

If the people and the press go after them, sorry, that's the price they have to pay for being state-subsidized mascots.

At least a kid in the Mickey Mouse suit or the Phillie Fanatic haven't been draining the country's coffers for centuries. They smile and wave at people for little more than minimum wage. Costs hundreds of millions a year to get the Windsors to walk amongst the common folk a couple of times a year.

Nice to see we are helping out the middle class.

I don't care too much about all this, but I thought this article about how the British press treats William vs. Harry was pretty interesting. I don't know how much of a role racism plays in it all, but it's definitely not zero.

Absolutely. This is racism. Just the fact the Meghan is not British is the first strike. Remember King Edward had to abdicate for marrying an American divorcee.

Yeah, that laid it out pretty nicely. Somewhere else I saw an article with multiple examples of pretty blatant racism toward Meghan, so I think it would be naive to assume that doesn't play a part in those other articles.
