First off, Giff is right... I just went back and watched, and while it is FUCKING WEIRD the way he behaves about his jersey, he certainly didn't make a bee line for the dugout. He was out on the field many minutes after the fact.

Still doesn't make his behavior seem normal, but not a smoking gun moment.

What I find REALLY weird about all this:

Just fucking mix your signals from the first batter. If you're worried they are stealing your signs, there a TONS of pretty foolproof ways of mixing things up that make it extremely difficult to steal signs.

I don't really have a dog in the fight, but I think it's all pretty exhausting at this point. MLB isn't taking away any WS titles, the main people responsible other than the players have been disciplined and (theoretically at least) MLB is going to take steps to make sure it can't happen again.

Think we all just need to move on.

(If you could prove Crane knew about it, there might be an argument for some kind of punishment for him like a year suspension from MLB ballparks or something like they did to Marge Schott, but I haven't seen anything like that.)
