Kinda surprised they didn’t wait / MLB didn’t make them wait.

The managers for every World Series winner for ‘14, ‘15, ‘16, ‘17, and ‘18 either retired or were fired in the last four months.
My avatar corresponds on my place in the Swamp posting list with the all-time Home Run list. Number 45 is Paul Konerko with 439.

WFAN is going to goad the Mets into firing Beltran.

Having to manage the mets should be punishment enough.
You know what you need? A lyrical sucker punch to the face.

If any franchise can find the worst way to navigate through this, its the Mets. Like they'll have a complete mess of a spring training standing by him then fire him 2 days before the opener because Kevin James tweets "looking back, not sure sticking with Beltran was the right decision".
