I also think you guys should consider this: The only thing that really matters to this group (at the highest levels, so Miller, Ivanka, Kushner, Trump, The Idiot Twins, etc) is maintaining power. That's their "philosophy."

So, they see the only way to maintain their perch in the WH is to get everyone so incredibly worked up on all sides, that the can create the chaos and confusion (and hatred, on both sides) that they can use the power of the incumbent to squeek out a victory.

All this barely a dog whistle white power stuff isn't because they really truly buy into that stuff... It's just a massive agitation / propaganda effort.

I'm not saying their not racist. I'm just saying they are using it more as a tool than some kind of ideological agenda. It's why (thankfully) they're so incredibly incompetent at actually moving forward in an tangible way. They are the definition of empty suits.

I'm failing to understand how even Eric Trump is posting pics of Maxwell with Bill Clinton. Like what about your Dad, bitch? It's like he's trying to have people post a many pics of his Dad with his rape buddy as possible.

If I bothered to post in the Facebook thread it would be a lot people who don’t realize trump is likely more concerned about Epstein than the clintons. It’s nuts.

Is Trump that concerned? He's Teflon and he know it would tarnish the Clintons more. Trump is already tarnished, why not double down?

Also, Trump distanced himself from Epstein earlier than a lot of other people. Not because he's a good guy, but because they butted heads. Trump and Epstein fell out in 2004, after competing for the same piece of real estate. Epstein wasn't arrested, for his first set of crimes, until 2005. Trump's attitude of being pissy and not associating with anyone who challenges him, might actually weirdly save him in this case.

Epstein was the kind of guy who rolled in big enough circles, anyone who was rich had interactions with him. Trump posing for a few pictures with him in the 90s, isn't going to be all that damaging.

If Clinton is actually placed on the island engaging in something questionable, it will be very damaging to the Democratic party.

He’s so fucking stupid but in his jumbled mind it almost makes sense. With all his (literal) Mob contacts he thinks America built Las Vegas when it was the Mob.

(Some of the best stuff you’ll ever read about Trump is in the books where it covers his dealings with the Nevada Gaming Commission. The reason he doesn’t have a casino in Las Vegas is because of ties to organized crime.

(Somewhat in his defense he shed a lot of those connections post-2000 but when he built in Las Vegas he was denied again (not publicly, unfortunately) because of ties to...the Russian Mob.)

In case you ever wondered why Trump Las Vegas is non-gaming.

Holy shit - had no idea.

Then there's this...

He Built a Privately Funded Border Wall. It’s Already at Risk of Falling Down if Not Fixed.
Fisher has leveraged his self-described “Lamborghini” of walls to win more than $1.7 billion worth of federal contracts in Arizona.

But his showcase piece is showing signs of runoff erosion and, if it’s not fixed, could be in danger of falling into the Rio Grande, according to engineers and hydrologists who reviewed photos of the wall for ProPublica and The Texas Tribune. It never should have been built so close to the river, they say.
Grifters, con men and slime balls of every stripe. You know, Trump and the Trump brand has never sold anything to anyone that had any value.

Having grown up in NY with parents who watched the city news each day (Chuck and Sue!), it amazes me that people don’t know he’s connected. It’s the only reason he stayed afloat long enough to become a fucking TV guy, let alone president. His non-payments would have gotten him killed a dozen times over if the would-be killers weren’t on his side.

You can say a lot of stuff about Las Vegas and Nevada and I have but they do NOT fuck around with gaming here since the 70s. There hasn’t been an active Nevada gaming licensee denied a gaming license in another state for 40 years.

This stuff will all come out eventually but some people think the reason Trump essentially became a Republican around 2005/6-ish was not because of Obama or anything other than he was led to believe Harry Reid would help him get a gaming license for his hotel here and the NGC started digging and found all of the Russia money and said no fucking way and told him to not even bother applying and as a courtesy Reid told him all this that he’d never get approved and somehow Trump took that as a fuck you instead of a favor. I’ve heard that story a half-dozen times from a half-dozen people that Know Things.

My favorite quote which I’m paraphrasing is that whoever did this off the books for the NGC (which was the favor) told whoever told Reid or whomever “we probably wouldn’t license a neighborhood bar with these financials”.

(In Nevada there are several classes of gaming licenses and the lowest (essentially) is the corner pub with less than 15 video poker/gaming machines.)

No, no it won't.
Sorry, I can't let this one go. Clinton has been out of office and almost entirely out of the spotlight for 20 years! How the fuck can this tarnish the Dems? We've all known Clinton was a sexually depraved monster since 1991. Well, maybe we didn't know for sure, but there were a lot of credible allegations before he even became the Dem nominee, and after the Lewinsky shit, I don't think there were any doubts. I think most people would be shocked if Clinton WASN'T involved in criminal sex acts with Epstein. Maybe if Hillary was running it'd have to be addressed, but how could this hurt the Dems when Trump is currently running for reelection and also tied to Epstein and on video bragging about being around Epstein and all his young beautiful girls? It's already been proven Clinton flew privately with Epstein at least 20 times, so I'm convinced Epstein set him up with under-aged sex trafficked girls and party drugs I've never even heard of. So what, Clinton is powerless and non-existent in the Dem Party, and again, we've known for almost 30 years that he is a raging sex addict with no self control or taste in women. He will, and has, fucked anything with a pulse, and if he fucked women without a pulse, I wouldn't be surprised.

I can very easily picture how this hurts the party and it would be due to the party putting in work to protect him and/or her.

Hello from New Mexico. I took my mother to the hospital this morning and she is going into heart surgery shortly.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that both my conservative parents were bitching about Trump when I arrived. That is a decided change from when I visited in December. My mother said she will hold her nose and still vote for him because she is a solid republican and doesn’t like Biden. My father shocked me by saying he won’t vote for Trump because he is so pissed about his response to the coronavirus, and his general behavior as an asshole. He said he’ll sit out the presidential election (Unfortunately, they support most of his horrible policies, but at least they have been pushed to the wall by this one.)

On the negative side, I spoke on the phone with my brother, who said he thinks all the worry about Covid-19 is a bit overblown. For Jeebus sakes, man! But, sometimes people will refuse to acknowledge the truth right in front of their own eyes. If you listen to Rush Limbaugh or Fox News like he does, you’d think that liberal revolutionaries are burning down the west coast and destroying the country. Sheesh. Of course my opinion is discounted because I live in liberal, godless California.

Re: Clinton - could this finally be the time for the Democrats to permanently cut the cord with the Clintons?

Biden will never say anything, but couldn't someone in the party make a statement distancing themselves from the Clintons?

Also, there's this - one of the most disingenuous things Trump has ever tweeted. (Top 300 anyway...)

I would expect that they will do so without any fanfare, as they have now essentially tied the party to Obama, an excellent speaker who a large portion of the base holds in high esteem. The fact that his VP is the current candidate just makes it easier. I would be surprised if either Clinton is involved at the convention.

It's the same narrative Pruitt. Democrats want to take away everything from you. It is Trump's MO.

Statues, Confederate flag, team names, lockdown businesses, lock down schools, wearing masks,.

It's all the same. Taking over control of you. Trump is all in now on corona is a hoax.

It really is the unraveling.

I mean for the entire 20th Century we (I'll pretend to be American) we're the good guys. WW I, WW II, Korea, Cold War, Gulf War and even Vietnam.

20 years into the 21st Century, where are we now? Are we still the good guys? Is America defendable? Illegitimate? Valuable? Hypocritcal? How is anyone going to metaphorically fight and die for a republic which is thought of in such a manner.

The more the merrier as far as piling on his dumb ass, but I don't know that I've seen any revelations in the book that weren't already known or well-assumed for those paying attention. Maybe the bit about bribing someone to take his SAT so he had a good enough score to go with his daddy's money to get him into Penn I guess is about the only thing I've seen so far that hasn't been reported elsewhere. The family stuff is interesting in a tabloid-y way, but doesn't really have much that's gonna make someone think twice about supporting him. He's not the first rich asshole raised by a monster and he won't be the last.

Yeah, I read a bunch of the early books on Trump, but I have no interest in Bolton or Mary Trump's books. They are just the 100th confirmation of what I already know, and I sure as fuck ain't giving Bolton a dime after he refused to testify at impeachment to make money on the book. Trumpers aren't going to believe anything Mary says and they labeled Bolton a Libturd and Never Trumper making up lies to attack Trump, so nothing will register to a cult member anyways.
