I have some clippers that I got for beard trimming that I'm going to take to my hair this weekend. It's something I figured I was a couple more years of thinning away from anyway, might as well start now.

Going to have to cut the front of my sons hair. It's covering his eyes and he is getting annoyed flipping his hair. I've been telling him to wait for my wife, because I know I'll butcher it, but she is only home on the weekends, and constantly getting calls or emergency assignments, and hasn't been able to squeeze in a haircut.

Yesterday would have been my haircut day (every 5 weeks as well). So now it's the unknown.

I will probably just shave my head before too long using my small clippers.

I'm another one who got his hair cut right before lockdown, and she cut it shorter than usual so I'm in good shape on the hair. But, I decided to let my beard grow 2 1/2 weeks ago, and now it is at that stage where it is itchy as hell, so I have to decide whether to power through it or just shave it off.

Grind it out. I'm up to about four weeks now and it gets better. I'm making sure to trim the longer hairs that hang over my lips though as those are the most annoying. If you can, get some beard oil also.

A person that works for me does a variation, where even when she's agreeing with your statement, she says "no no no."

I told her not to Triple No me in a meeting and it busted the room up. I don't think anyone's every pointed it out to her before.

That's why I'm here, folks.

We took the kids out for soft serve ice cream today. It was my idea and I think we all needed it, especially the kids to get out of the house for something other than a walk or hike.

They have cones set up outside to mark where you are supposed to wait to maintain adequate space and a sign explaining them, which is a bonus.

I trust you went for "most embarrassing" because it wasn't quite racist enough for that top spot.

On my commute there was a frigging wild turkey in a residential neighborhood. It looked very confused, but not nearly as surprised as the person who is going to wake up to a wild turkey in their backyard.

I saw a video of like 12 to 15 deer roaming through a fairly urban Grand Rapids (MI) neighborhood yesterday. The animals are starting to venture into places they normally would avoid with more human activity.

Though there are probably more than a few that have woken up in the backyard because of Wild Turkey?

In one of our numerous threads on here, there were big ass mountain lions in the streets of Boulder.

And that was easily 2 weeks ago.

I've definitely noticed that squirrels are getting a lot more used to humans in my hood.

I cut my own hair for the first time in my life last week. I bought some $40 clippers at the grocery store (I had researched them on Amazon first), and they actually worked pretty well. I made a mess of the bathroom, but actually did a decent job with the cut.

Did you just clip everything the same length, or longer on top and then blend together? The blending thing is what I'm worried I'll fuck up and make it look terrible, which is the main thing holding me back so far.

I did use a longer cut on top than the sides. Hard to say if I successfully blended - I had little idea what I was doing - but it seemed to work.
