It’s been on their regular programming at 8 est - maybe not allowed to make it available on demand?

First case for someone we know-know, and while they're not hospitalized, they also not asymptomatic.

Crazy for a Gonzaga-Davidson game but I count at least 5 other NBA players in the building that night. Dell and Seth Curry, Pargo, Daye, and Morrison.

I was at that Davidson-Kansas regional final game that year. One of the best basketball games I’ve ever seen. Only thing that sucked was seeing it in a football stadium.

So, any of you with housecleaners? If so, I assume you're not having them come, right? But are you still paying them? I feel bad about cutting off our housecleaner, so I think we're gonna go ahead and pay her about 75% of what we normally pay. Anyone else doing something like this? Is there another way?

I wouldn't want them to risk their health and ask them to come (and, hey, we won't be entertaining any guests for a while). I had only figured on tipping very heavily (multiples of what the normal cost is and letting them split it up internally as the people who come vary from month to month) when they are able to return, but you make a good point about paying as things go.

Yeah, I would probably feel different if it were a service vs a single person. I'd be much less likely to worry about a company, even though, to be honest, they'd likely have the same financial problems.

I would think places like Merry Maids might have more business than usual, what with so many places upping their hygienic standards.

I have one that comes every other Monday (earlier this week was her day). Right or wrong, my wife and I gave her the choice and she chose to still come. My logic was she works with bleach all day every day, uses gloves and our area is not a hotspot for the growth of virus. She lives in town and only had been out to the grocery store. My wife and I have had minimal exposure as well since we both work from home. She cleans using harsh chemicals; if she only used "natural products" or something like that I might have canceled.

We were her only customers that did not cancel on her; she appreciated us keeping the appointment. We'll see how things look in two weeks.

Yeah, for us it's not just the risk of spread, but all four of us are working/schooling from home, in meetings, etc. There's just no easy way to make it work.

My upstairs AC unit picked right now to go out, so not only am I about to be out multiple thousands of dollars, I will also have workers inside my house for a period of time. I'd postpone, but the highs have been in the upper 80's, and it's getting hard to sleep at night because it won't cool down enough.

None. On Kimmel, he covered a Paul Simon song. He has no new music to promote which usually means there will be a good mix. You can join antsmarching if you want to play the setlist game. (edit: no setlist game for tonight, but they're making predictions here: https://antsmarching.org/forum/showthread.php?t=354069). I'm guessing we'll hear One Sweet World, Everyday, Crash, and a cover

The Kimmel performance from this week (song starts at 18 minutes)

Paid her full freight this week (mailed a check). We are on every other week with her, might consider paying 75 percent, but really my wife cuts that check and it'll probably be full freight again.

Our lady comes every other week. We paid her not to come this time. Not sure how we’ll handle it in the future. We also had a short trip planned that we cancelled, so we paid our Petsitter half of what she would have earned.

Yeah, it normally costs us about $135 for a cleaning, and we were thinking of just paying her $100. Seems reasonable, right?

Me neither, but I have no children and it's sort of just ingrained in myself and the Mrs. lives now that we clean every few days. But I understand why people with the means do it.

Ours is an independently-owned company, not a Merry Maids or the like (the owner comes with the group probably 75% of the time as a cleaner, not a supervisor, he personally texts my wife with their expected arrival time). We have them once a month for dusting, mopping floors, cleaning bathrooms, etc. while we still do plenty in between (I probably vacuum once a week due to our two crumb factories - can't wait for Girl Scout cookies to be completely out of the house due to the foot traffic from people running booths picking up and dropping off).

We pay $130 every two weeks and I agree it's hard to fathom. Like BSF we have no kids; I personally felt weird about it at first especially since we both work from home and have plenty of time to do it. It's just something that my wife really wanted because she hates cleaning but also thinks everything is dirty all the time so I agreed to it. We still do some light cleaning in between.
