In suggesting future Thursday Night Quarantine Movies, I have specifically mentioned not watching that to Brian. Just seems like it would be too much quoting lines because we all know it so well.

I just needed to feel better and lose myself for a few hours and that did the trick.

I assume heaven is riding shotgun up that highway hill into the morning sun to buy Aerosmith tickets.

A quibble with DaC: I was the same age at the same time as those kids in the film. Certainly the music, the hair, fashion, parties, and lots of the characters are recognizable from my era. But I’ve never met anyone who attended a school with that amount and kind of brutal hazing.

In the late 90's, we asked a friend who was from Texas about the hazing angle (specifically, the paddling). He said, "yep".

The head guy from that park who was on the show was there yes. And he’s exactly the same way in real life. Tim stark. He’s the one.

Ordered pizza for pick-up last night. Based on the number of pizzas and takeout bags atop the oven, they were having a good night.

Every family in America that has kids is ordering pizza.

Yeah I suspect the pizza places are doing gangbusters. The more unlikely delivery/takeout places like Mediterranean or even sushi might not as much.

My (probably unpopular) opinion is that there are a number of food service establishments that will do better for a certain period of time because of this. Lower overhead and increased orders due to people wanting to support the industry or their local establishments. I don't know what that number is or for how long the bump will last but I do think some folks will make some money.

You’re right. Might see a lot of places just stay takeout only honestly. We probably aren’t really prepared for the unexpected ways this will re-align our lives for the next few decades.

We did order from our favorite Mexican joint tonight. They set up their own delivery service. I tipped 50 percent. And the food was amazing.

You just described food trucks. Using that as a comparison, I don't think the bump will last very long.

Is that just playing it safe or do they have real, learned/first-hand reasons for avoiding ibuprofen?

Third-hand info, but I think its at a stage where they can't prove any negative connection, but also can't disprove so proper caution says to avoid. But given who represents one side, I'm sure you have to be very careful not to slander THE BRAND.
