I have seen it in all it's glory. On the negative side, Elizabeth Berkley is a poor actress. On the positive side, she spends much of this film being nekkid.

"See, darling, you really are a whore."

Gina Gershon was the chick when I was 12 that made me go "Holy shit, I fucking love brunettes now." And her lips are incredible. I had just never seen a chick with a face like hers.

Then she did a movie called Bound with Jennifer Tilly that is still an all timer because of their sex scene.

Excellent good 'bad' movie.

Yeah, Gina Gershon was hot as fuck (and judging by an image search, still looks pretty good in her mid-50s). And I say this without having seen Showgirls.

Was going to say she is the type where if you described her to someone else, wouldn't sound that hot, but then watch her and you get it.

Am I the only one who saw this movie when it came out? Sophomore year of college, and the excitement we all had to see Jessie Spano naked in sex scenes was must see material. It was sooooo bad, nobody cared about anything other than how painfully bad it was. The big sex scene had everyone laughing out loud at the horrible acting.

It was very exciting coming out. It was supposed to be the next Basic Instinct but with the nerd form Saved by the Bell -- what's better than that. I remember junior year in college, they played the movie on E! all the time and they forgot to blur out the boobs in the background. Good times.

Is it commonly accepted that Jessie was clearly ranked 3rd of the 3, or is my anti-tall bias showing?

Well some of us actually can used as a marker for correct social distancing unlike you. And I think Jessie was very hit or miss depending on the hairstyle.

1. Back then it was a big deal to see any actress get naked.
2. Seeing the nerdy girl in a show becoming a slut is fun.
3. So what if she was the 3rd hottest on the show? You take what you can get.

That was judged to be the most mediocre movie of the 2010s by the NYT and that sounds about right. It’s not something I’m eager to see again though the I get your thought.

We can push back a week.

I found what looks like a pause point for tonight's feature, will post details later today.

I can see both points. It's about as close to actual live sports content as we're likely to get for a little while, so don't really want to make anyone choose.

OK, I'm sold. Hell, I haven't watched the draft since Fisher was taken #1 overall, so this will be the first time in about a decade for me.

Yeah, I've probably sat down and watched all (most) of night one only once in that same time range, but I'm excited for the event of this year's edition.

There are MGM and United Artists roll-ins, then the movie starts. For simplicity, we'll just start prior to the MGM logo/lion roar.

Tonight's pause point will be around the 1:04 mark. Elizabeth Berkeley gets into a car while holding a bouquet of roses outside of a casino, then the screen fades to black, which is when we'll pause.

Instead of leaving a Swamp event to go eat dinner, tonight, with regrets, I'm going to miss the event to make dinner. I've never made chicken parmigiana before, but with the help of Cerrano's new grandfather's video, I think I can swing it. (Pretty sure the missus will be really tired of my fake italian accent by the end of dinner.)

I think you should identifying yourself in the third person as "Chef (last name, but Italian-izing the pronunciation in a very bad Italian accent)" throughout the cooking process.

Also, I was pleasantly surprised to learn it is free on-demand if you have Starz by the way (I could have sworn I checked last week and that wasn't the case so may have just been added in last few days).
