Shoot didn’t spongelikeninja bring that? But seriously. You should drink that. I got a gift handle for Christmas and me and the wife have one every once in a while to start the night. It’s so so good. I ration the good stuff.

Aw, shit?

And if you need a virtual/online babysitter, let me know. The nice Canadians down the street with three kids LOVE her.

Nah. All things considered my deal isn't bad at all aside from a furlough week seeming like a time to go do stuff versus sit in the same house you've been sitting in for weeks.

Time to take up race walking. But not the usual kind - for this kind you just try to see how long you can stay out of the house.

So I have slacked on this. I had grand designs. Daily updates. Ply guitar and video games. But life doesn’t work like that. Thursday and Friday last week sucked. Thursday I felt like shit due to ongoing stomach issues. Friday I found out a person I figured was untouchable got laid off. No furlough. Just gone. So I got pretty low Friday. I did take a nice 45 minute walk which really helped though. Movement matters. Inertia and all that.

Keep grinding frogs. Maybe an Isbell song tomorrow after all the shit I got done today.

Keep your expectations for the day's accomplishments low. That way, you will usually end up satisfied.

So I mentioned on the draft zoom that I am going back in a week from Monday. So make your requests. I’ll try to do a song a day. I have one planned for tomorrow but throw the suggestions out.

And you know my genre so don’t be nuts. I’m not playing me bright side or r Kelly.

I’ll give you $1 million if you can competently play “Proof” by Pat Metheny.

ETA: I’ll give you $5 if you record yourself completely butchering “Proof” by Pat Metheny.

I know like six chords.

Plus I know you have home repair issues and I don’t trust your credit.

I tried to play an f minor suspended ninth but realized I don’t have seven fingers.

On both hands.

Not furloughed but they offered individualized VBO packages to any with a combined 70, age plus tenure. Sick of getting up every day to do something I hate, so my last day is 6/30. Getting 12 months of paychecks, then 6 months pay in a lump sum, prorated 21 bonus from 6/30, unused PTO, and two years on the employee health plan at same cost.

Gonna pay off my house and be debt free. After the year, I'll just need to hustle for 25-30k. Probably teach a little tennis and drive an Uber or something.

I'm excited.

And your Uber diaries would probably be great if you do go that route.

Achilles. Dr. Doobay said it was a nice clean break so it came back together quite nicely. Nerve block didn't wear off until Sunday and then I needed like one perc each on Sunday and Monday. Now anything is mild at best.

I actually saw my FA a couple weeks ago because I wanted to see if I could retire in 5 years when my house is paid off. He said absolutely. Showed him this...he said absolutely. I was prepared to have my heart ripped out of my chest.

Of course, the current stock market had a lot to do with this and things in the old savings might be artificially-inflated, but fuck it. Both of my parents died of pancreatic cancer and my last grandparent died when I was 18. If there's a way to hedge my bets on this longevity thing, I'm in.

Damn that's a great deal. All I got was a gift card when I was laid off. If you can stand kids and don't mind working with a bunch of women in their 20's and 30's, you could probably get about 30k with nice hours with lots of vacations working as a teaching assistant/substitute.
