Two things.

1-this is not the fucking craft beer/trader joe thread. Lit or GTFo.

2- I did not need this last bourbon.

3- fuck yo math.

Happy indeed.

Wife and daughter off to see Katy Perry. Son is working in the basement, dog is tired, might get 6 kids coming by the house tonight (for Hallowe'en for christ's sake!)

Shot of Writer's Tears and a local IPA on the desk and a night of watching a bunch of animated shows as I try to come up with a series idea...

Life is good.

Highly recommended...

Thirded.

My barber has beers while we wait/get cut. I may or may not have had a few without having lunch and now this afternoon is fun.

I had a friend who described drinking Long Island Iced Teas as "mainlining alcohol."

There's a place here in Houston known for their 32 oz. long islands. It's like the trashiest dive bar ever, but it's right on the edge of one of the toniest neighborhoods in town. They limit you to two and there are always two off duty cops hanging out at the front door on the weekends. I miss Marquis II.

Back in my bartending days I worked in a dump where they were pretty popular. I associate them with bad decisions (and nice tips)

Ha!

I’ve been battling food poisoning the past few days. Sunday night my wife came home with a meatball ravioli dinner from some restaurant out in Catonsville. I ate it…and several hours later woke up in pain (1 am Mon). I thought some organ was about to burst. Couldn’t even lay down because the pain came in waves whenever I was horizontal, and when I was upright it was only a blecch feeling. So around 3 am I decided to force the issue by downing an 8oz glass of Miralax…you know, to expedite the offending food out of my system. Anyway, around 4:30 am I start the trips to the bathroom. Around noon I was done. Two days later the fever has resided, but my internal clock’s been flipped since.

Maybe leaving my wife at the bar while I left to get tacos with my youngest and look after the dog was a bad idea.

Jesus, I read the first 4 words and my heart sank into my stomach. Careful how you word shit! The rest of the sentence paints a hilarious picture though, get her lots of Gatorade or Liquid IV.

Planned ahead for a throw a bunch of stuff in a baking pan dinner. Minimal knife work left to do. So smrt.
