Not sure, though I'm happy to be a clearinghouse for the money. Think we have to arrive at a buy-in.

We need someone to start and host a “home game” and send out invites. We need to get a firm headcount and decide if we are doing it as a small tournament . We need to agree on entry and decide if we will do winner takes all and just PayPal/Venmo the winner or if we will pay a few places.

I haven’t been on it enough to figure out about hosting a home game - I just play in one. I have a conference call at 4:30 but can maybe look into it a bit tonight if no one else has the quick answers

The only caveat I'll throw in is there should be a contingency plan if it fails. I've had 2 tables fail on us mid-tounament and it's never a happy crowd. There's no quick support option that I can see either, they got back to me over a week later with no help and a "we're sorry, it's real busy".

Happened in my game last week. We have a rule that unless the tourney is down to the paid places , it is simply null and void. We should probably just adopt that too.

Also, the PokerStars Lite app that is for mobile devices won't allow you to play home games. Gotta have the desktop app.

Do we get to monitor pulses during the game? I'm now a bit scared of this app.

I'm still in tonight though maybe it's best if we just decide to do tonight without any money on the line until we all get a feel for how everything would work in a real-money situation (though I'm fine either way, I just don't have the bandwidth today to do anything in the way of organization since I'm dealing with a disaster at work.

It feels like we should push this a week until we finish getting our ducks in a row. Once someone sets up to host a home game that person needs to send out invites through the site to everyone - people can then jump in for games we schedule as they are able.

I'd agree. I'm also up for a friendly if anyone just wants to play for brags or to get used to the home club set up. But someone has to set that monster up.

ALL - I am going to set up a "home game" - I will likely need email addresses for everyone so I can send invites. If you don't want to put your name/email into this thread - shoot me a DM on here or facebook message me if you are on there etc.

Let's start there and then work on the next details

Scratch that - I don't need your email, but if you want me to send you the invite, I will need your email.

If you don't want to send your email, Go to PokerStars and join Club 3555591 with password or code of PokerFrog!

Someone try and join and let me know if you are able to find it and get in.

I can't even get into PokerStars right now. Says I need to PIN to finish entry but the two most likely ones I would have setup didn't work and I can't recover it without getting an error. I'll try again later.

This won't work on a phone - has to be a laptop or desktop is my understanding. If you are in Pennsylvania, that might be an issue I've heard - but not sure why. If you download the latest version of PokerStars this should work (unless the site is crashing).

Let's make the goal for today to get people in and then let's figure out another day and time to play and details etc.

You will need to click on the "home games" tab and then search in Poker Clubs to find the room, I believe.
