You can't block a QB after he throws an interception? What the hell? Does a QB still get to tackle someone after an inception?

WEEK 27 UPDATE

Alright, the regular season is in the books.

Burlington stumbled down the stretch, but managed to do just enough to hold off challenges from Danbury and Utica to clinch the Northeast division title in the final days of the season. The weak competition helped, as their title came with the weakest record of any playoff team.

Holland, who had comfortably put away their division last week, continued to cruise through the season's final week as they gear up for the postseason.

PLAYOFF PICTURE

Burlington will have their hands full with Regina, who built on last year's surprising title to win 103 games en route to the league's second-best record.

Meanwhile, Holland will face the upstart Kentucky Fruit Salad, whose breakthrough season saw them snag the final playoff spot and go on to upset the favored Fort Myers Manatees in the wild card game.

In the other playoff matchups, the league-best Dundalk Old Bays face the Wilmington Creditors, while the Fresno Business Horses square off against the Corpus Christi Brinkleys.

Time to spend my last few days with Burlington in the bullpen during the postseason, where I've had my greatest success outside of the batter's box.

Maddux wasn't Randy Johnson but he did strike out over 3,000. Some of that is longevity, of course.

Starters for upcoming Game 2's:

BURLINGTON: brian (15-12, 3.50 ERA) vs. REGINA: Robby Orosco (17-8, 2.98 ERA)

HOLLAND: Rush2112 (18-12, 3.76 ERA) vs. KENTUCKY: Jonathan Bellman (13-14, 4.28 ERA)

Btw, I know that starters going long innings is way out of whack. When I set things up, I intended for relievers to be used a little less than present day MLB, but it ended up looking like the 1960s. Will see what I can do.
