You exited the game after sliding into a base with what turned out to be a "stiff neck" but will be OK for the next game.
Oh I'm stiff alright.

There hasn’t been enough attention paid to Holland’s plucky shortstop who, after battling the Mendoza line all regular season, has been kicking ass ON FI-YER all postseason. Clutch.

Hey some of us are out here doing it all for the team man.

That said, in an act of team solidarity, I rip my MVP in half with my bare hands and present one half each to PDX and Duff for their efforts this postseason.

Rass gets nothing and I'm gonna put a bunch of cocaine in his trunk and tell the cops I think I saw him leave the locker room a little tipsy.

I’m not Out of Touch, I just think you should know that You Make My Dreams Come True. Oh, and Moreta, your Kiss is on My List.

Alright, time for the season awards:

- wlu_lax and BSF21 wins the Silver Slugger awards as their conferences' top hitters at their positions.

- rass wins the Gold Glove as the Shrew conference's top defensive catcher. Incidentally, rass is also the league's all time leader in runners thrown out, with 115.

- Johnny Carwash wins Manager of the Year for Holland. You're welcome.

- degenerasian finishes fifth in the Shrew Conference Cy Young voting, behind Corpus Christi's Rory Strachan.

- wlu_lax finishes second in the Bensell Conference MVP voting, narrowly losing out to Dundalk's Arturo Chacon.

- BSF21 and P.D.X. finish third and fourth in the Shrew Conference MVP voting, won by Ernesto "Slim" Gonzales of Fort Myers.

- Congratulations to the winners of the Unknown Award for their teams' respective MVPs, wlu_lax for Burlington and BSF21 for Holland. Here's the vote tally for reference:

Degenerasian was burned in Cy Young voting.

If he wasn't a Canadian he'd have won the award.

My Oats teammates are well aware of this because I brand myself, Killmonger-style, in the locker room after games where I throw a mfer out.

Bump...any interest in doing this for another season?

If so, would likely cut down the updates to monthly or bi-weekly for most of the season as getting everything together is kind of a grind for me.

Always look forward to it but I don't have to do any work (other click a link or so) so easy for me to say yes...respect your time so if you say I am done, no harm (but not your managerial work..virtual wlu_lax6 stays surly and selfish).

I'm still planning to do this, just need to get around to it. Hopefully within the next couple weeks.

As for play-by-play, the in-game presentation is very basic and no-frills, sort of like an upgraded version of the old MicroLeague Baseball games. If you'd like to give it a try, great, but not sure how much you could do with it.
