I really, really, really enjoyed the documentary about Ayrton Senna ("Senna") and highly recommend it. I think there's actually a decent movie to be made about the kind of attitude you have to have to drive a car around a track at almost 200 mph.

I think they race there twice. Not three times, though. But maybe I'm losing track of the calendar.
It's the first race of the year and the July 4th race (in non-COVID years) (but when someone says "Daytona" they mean the 500.)
Right, so which/when race did they crash at?

Crazy to see Neil Bonnett in the pre-race interviews knowing he died in an accident at Daytona.

Temps are like 80 out right now. These are the days when I don't understand how everyone in the world doesn't live here.

(Don't get me wrong -- Vegas has its problems like anywhere else, but this is literally about as perfect as it gets.)

Right now the order is:

1) Thailand
2) Mexico
3) Ecuador
4) Panama
5) Colombia

My Spanish on Duolingo is coming along nicely. I'm not going to start Thai until I know that's going to be a thing because Thai is fucking hard, brah

This isn't the thread for it but what the hell. We were supposed to go spend three weeks in Thailand in January or February of next year but that doesn't look like it's happening. Assuming I can actually get anywhere near what my house is worth in two years, I'm out of there. I should just done it three years ago and scraped for shit I can do online to grind out $20K a year to make the yearly nut.

I was going to write Thailand, but that didn't seem 100% right and I didn't want to infer anything, even though we know.
