He was always funny. Even going back to "Fernwood Tonight"
But to me, this could be the highlight of his career - at least it makes me laugh my ass off every time I see it.

This is still one of the best two minutes of concentrated comedy I've ever seen. First time I saw it, I had to pause and take a break to process it all, I was laughing so hard. RIP.

For a fair amount of time as an adult I thought Willard was herb from wkrp.
Ok probably young adult like early 20s.

I was a big fan of his, I watched all of his movies, not his personally but the whole genre of comedy.

Had a coworker who way overused it, and I laughed every time she said it. Usually at inappropriate times when discussing serious Homeland Security matters. Context made it work. Plus she was from an Iowa farm town and fit the bill, but had a wicked and biting sarcastic humor.
But back to Fred Willard, I loved him in everything. Always played the same character, but goddamn did he make it hilarious. I love that he looks like he is having the time of his life every time he is on screen.
