I reread the story - not because I doubted you, but because whenever you read a Grimm tale, there are levels of perversity and horror that are always shocking. But I couldn't find a reference to the burying alive...
Got it from DisneyWiki, FWIW...
Regardless, the Witch laughs it off, confident that the dwarfs will think Snow White is dead and they'll bury her alive and making her unable to receive a kiss.

Wow! Maybe from the movie version.

But those Grimms' tales are so nasty. Not sure if it was because of the era, or because there's a particularly grim German sensibility.

On a related note, check out this Classic German children's book - Image

Includes the cautionary tale of a kid who wouldn't stop sucking his thumbs, even when told that the Scissor Man would come and get hium. He sucked away and then...
The door flew open, in he ran,
The great, long, red-legged scissor-man.
Oh! children, see! the tailor's come
And caught out little Suck-a-Thumb.
Snip! Snap! Snip! the scissors go;
And Conrad cries out "Oh! Oh! Oh!"
Snip! Snap! Snip! They go so fast,
That both his thumbs are off at last.

You don't listen to a whole lot of country do you? If it does not sound like a bumper sticker you rarely hear it on the radio.

The guy who played Mr. Whipple, Dick Wilson, had a daughter. Melanie. Melanie is probably better know as Jennifer Lyons-Appleton, or Cousin Larry's love interest from Perfect Strangers.

I can't remember if I posted this before, but I learned a couple weeks ago that Murray Head, of One Night in Bangkok fame, is the brother of Giles from Buffy the Vampire Slayer (Anthony Stewart Head).

That may be the most random thing I have ever learned in my life.

After endless planning and meetings, we commenced project Isabella…In under a year, through an aerial attack [by helicopter], we ended up wiping out 90 percent of the goats on Isabela. But to give an example of the nature of this business, its relatively easy to remove 90 percent of a goat population from an island. As they become rarer and rarer, they become harder to detect. The become educated. So the goats start hiding. You end up flying around in an expensive helicopter not finding any goats.

So the way we deal with that is an interesting technique called Judas goats. Goats are gregarious and like being in groups. They’re herd animals. The technique we would use was you fire up the helicopter, capture goats live, take them back to base camp, unload them, put a radio collar on them, and then throw them back on the island. Instinctively, that goat will go find other goats. A week, two weeks go by. You fire up the helicopter and…start tracking the Judas goats until you spot it with other goats. And then everyone gets shot except the Judas goat. And then they do it again. Every two weeks for a year.

That’s how Isabela island went from 90 percent to 99 percent goat free. The last few goats were the Judas goats, which had been sterilized. For their trouble, they were allowed to live to the end of their days on the island (although one imagines the effect of such repeated trauma).

http://onward.nationalgeographic.com/20 ... das-goats/

So, you capture these goats, castrate them, put a radio on them, and let them be bait as they have to watch all of their new friends be slaughtered around them 26 times in a year. Then, you actually have the audacity to name them after one of the most loathed men in fake human history? Come on, humans...we can do better than that.

The palm tree in my front yard is maintained enough that I only have to worry about getting stabbed repeatedly with the thorns on the fronds, which happens numerous times every time I trim it. It's not fun. I should just hire a guy, but I'm pretty cheap.

I hear you. One of my tasks at my old job was to write the first draft of the script for our CEO and CFO to use on our quarterly telephone conference calls with the investment community. I always dreaded the first meeting to go over my draft, because the meeting was attended by about 7 of the top execs and they all wanted to put in their two cents on how it should be edited. And, one cuntmuppet (to use your term), when he wanted to change something from my original, would always laugh to mock my original. I had to be calm and professional while he spoke, but I always did a slow burn.
