That almost makes me physically ill. If I ran the team, the jagoff in the mascot suit would have been fired on the spot.

Said it before, saying it again, by any measure, what Vince Carter did to the Raptors and their fans (who idolized him) is one of the five worst things that any athlete has done.

(Obviously excluding actual criminal behaviour of course.)

Any Raptor fan who speaks well of him is either under 25 or wasn't a fan back in the day.

Fuck him now, fuck him forever. Piece of garbage. And anyone who tells me that a guy who quit on his team, and who flew down to a graduation ceremony the day before the biggest game in team history, a guy who made 2nd team all-NBA once, is worthy of the hall of fame, I may smack him.

He belongs in the league's worst backwater.

Sorry but Vince is one of the greatest talents to come out of UNC and that is saying something. Truly amazing that he is still playing. Totally aside from the hops he had a game to go along with it (or at least a jumper) since day one. Very very few have that skill set. To this day I remember a botched lob by Ed Cota at the end of a Duke game in about 96 that would have turned the dean dome to rubble had it gone down.

Not doubting his talent. But he was a gutless quitting whiner who admitted that he stopped trying in Toronto when he wanted a trade.

Check out his stats for the 2004-2005 season.

Imagine he did that to your team.

Fuck his talent. Fuck him. Watch this clip and see where I - as a Raptors fan - am coming from. Watch him admit to not trying. I'll say it again, fuck Vince Carter.

Without even watching that I seem to recall them failing to re-up Tracy mcgrady around that same time. Would have done the same not to go down with that ship.

A few of those photos made me think of the creepy brothers that show up in horror movies.
