Yep. I've got a few I like and the rest I can't stand. I dislike Corgan's voice for the most part but there's a few that it's not a total dealbreaker for me.

I feel like with a different singer it would be totally different. There's a song or two I like despite his horrible, grating voice and even worse personality.

Yeah, he's a complete asshole, but I really like 3 of their albums - Gish, SIamese Dream, and Mellon Collie.

Gish is a solid album all the way through. Everything after Gish went downhill for me. But I don’t hate them.

I do think a lot of this is me not listening to their genre of music when they were at peak, so when I was getting into it and doubling back he was already a clear dick. Oasis too, but for some reason (Corgan's voice) that didn't sway me as much.

(can't be the only one who spent a lot of time on the first and last songs in addition to which just which 7 songs, once I settled on including the Gin Blossoms song I liked "found" into "find", and then in the middle I decided I didn't want to segregate all of the rock from the hip-hop and that was about it)

(though I must have listened to the last 30 seconds of each song leading into the next 5 or 6 times and was OK with most of the transitions, and as Giff said it's tough with a limited # of songs)

I actually did with mine to have a beginning, rise, peak, and denoument in terms of tempo. That's why mine runs hip hop, country, rock, and trip hop to finish. The fact that my closer was the closer on my album was a good guide.

I also only picked songs from CDs I actually own, so a number of artists I would've probably added I kept on the sidelines. Maybe I can switch albums in later rounds if that's part of the deal.

I've always liked Metric more than anyone I know and I assume it'll stay that way.
