I rarely say this about any movie because I really do respect how hard a business it is, but I'm pretty sure I could have done a better job of set design for this movie and don't give two shits about design.
Everything on the walls looks like it came from an Aaron Brothers "pre-framed prints" display.

I once got like 10,000,000 on Defender. True story. Played for like two hours or something like that. It was insane. The run of a lifetime.

So the bald Japanese guy was the movie's stunt/martial arts coordinator and maybe the only person involved in the production who wasn't terrible at their job.

If they actually paid for a permit to shoot in Beverly HIlls, it may have been the largest expenditure of the budget.

The cute blond GF tangentially related to the bad guy died for hanging out with the cop who lives at the beach in LW2.
But was it 2 or 3 where all of the cops died? Murtagh on the toilet was 3, right?

Murtaugh toilet was 1 or 2 I'm pretty sure. All the cops died in 2 IIRC.

Another underrated angle is the legit stunts out of place in the movie like the guy on fire and the guy falling backwards into the pool after being shot.
