I watched a segment on CBS's Sunday Morning with Ted Koppel, who was interviewing Trump supporters and how he's handled COVID.

This was in coal country, West By God Virginia.

These people are, literally, unreachable.

You could see the light dim in Koppel's eyes. To his credit, he kept playing it straight. I would've ended that interview right then and there.

Yeah the fact that he went to Walter Reed in the first place is a huge red flag this is more serious they’re letting on. Also it’s not the kind of disease where you’re “better” three days later regardless of what drugs you take. Will be interesting to see his level of engagement for the next week or so.

Meanwhile, here in the real world, my GF had to scan (she's a sonographer) a patient today who is Covid positive. She had to fully suit up (gown, gloves, shoe covers, mask, face shield).

The patient's baby had demised...and then she had to comfort the patient's husband that he wasn't going to lose both his baby and his wife.

It's all his (and probably even some of his team) opinion that being hospitalized looks weak and can't be spun in any way other than "He's really sick."

At least at the WH, they can pretend he's doing just fine.

In that video above, he's clearly not well. This is the first time since this started that I truly believe he's in pretty bad shape. The fact that they had to give him oxygen, twice, means this is way more than "mild symptoms."

I had a very good buddy get this and he described what would be moderate symptoms and he never had to receive oxygen assistance.

The tweet about Herman Cain is no joke. The worst days are typically out in the 8-10 range. Saying he's not out of the woods is 1000 percent accurate.
