They are moving games to USA Network. (USA Network still exists? Do they still show Grape Ape?)

By the time this happens, they'll be in the last season of the EPL contract. It sounds a bit like they anticipate losing EPL and/or NHL.

It’s like they looked at Vs. and Fox Soccer and said “how can we not do that?” and then nailed it. God, I hate Joe Micheletti.

With Thomas Tuchel replacing him. I don't see Tuchel doing well at Chelsea, although he might get more out of Pulisic than Lamps did.

Tuchel is probably lucky there won't be any fans there, most of the Chelsea fans I know are Frank loyalists

It does beg the question. Outside of Pep and Parker, I'm not sure who else would be a lock for that Top 5.

Fuck Mourinho.

So Spurs down 1-0, Kane is out, so he pulls the back who gives the team some offensive spark (Aurier) and brings in their 3rd best holding midfielder (Winks) and a midfielder who can't pass or shoot (Lamela).

This with Moura, Bale and Vinicius on the bench.

What the fuck was he trying to do, sit on a 1-0 deficit?

I HATE MOURINHO. Just an empty suit living off past glories.

Brings in Bale with 10 minutes left, but gives Lamela (aka "fucking Lamela") a full half.

I just can't conceive of what the plan was.

It's not my money, but I cannot believe how much Spurs are paying him to piss off half the roster of players.

Mourinho's starting lineup against Brighton today included a defender and a holding midfielder on the wings, central defenders at left and right back and their only striker on the bench. It's as if he's playing some kind of game whereby he pulls names out of a hat and then puts them on the team sheet.

It's just horrible to watch
At present speed and course, Mourinho might not make the return of Europa League football next month, never mind April’s League Cup final. Right now this is a team and manager devoid of ideas. It was entirely predictable that Spurs would be bad tonight, and yet they still managed to draw a gasp. And it still feels like things can go downhill even from here.

This cracked me up (from The Atlantic):
In the 69th minute at Stamford Bridge, an exasperated Sean Dyche had seen enough of Callum Hudson-Odoi tormenting the left side of his deep, narrow Burnley defence. Seconds after the Chelsea winger’s teasing low cross was almost turned into his own net by the stretching Ben Mee, he cupped his hands around his mouth and bellowed in the direction of Robbie Brady.

“ROBBIE!!! ROBBIE!!! TUNE IN!” he said, jabbing his temple with his finger.

Brady, worn down by the task of tracking back to help Erik Pieters deal with the threat of Hudson-Odoi’s lightning surges all afternoon, turned to his manager and responded with refreshing honesty:

“I know where he fucking is, I just can’t stop it. What do you want me to do?”

Speaking of Burnley...

Burnley's US takeover has left club £90m worse off and loaded with debt
Dell’s MSD has lent money to other English football clubs during the pandemic, including Southampton and Derby County, also secured by charges, but these loans were not taken out to finance takeovers. Southampton recently published their accounts for the 2019-20 financial year, declaring that their loan from MSD is £78.8m, at an annual interest rate of 9.14%. By comparison, interest on their ordinary bank loan is just 1%. Pace has declined to say whether Burnley’s MSD loan has a similar 9% interest rate, which would cost the club approximately £5.4m interest a year.

Just increase David Fishwick Minibus' sponsorship by £90m. Easy fix.

And United win 9-0. I thought that might be enough to finally get me ahead of Pruitt in Fantasy, but that rat bastard Swampgame teammate of mine had the same 3 Man U players as me AND was smart enough to captain Fernandes (who's going to get the 3 bonus points as well as all the other points he already got).

[orange]Maybe DCL can replicate Bruno's points vs. Leeds tomorrow.[/orange]

Mourinho (aka "The Special One") leaves a sub on the bench when he's got players who are so tired they can barely run up the pitch.

Words can hardly describe how much I hate this overrated piece of garbage.

Everton-Man U had a crazy finish.

Also - ever notice the proliferation of tire (or "tyre") companies that advertise on the hoardings at EPL games?

It's almost as if there's a different tire company for each team.
