I guess. But Alli played like shit for over a season under Pochettino. Once Ericksen stopped producing for Spurs, Alli disappeared.

Rafa going to Everton is going to make the Merseyside derbies even more spicy

Re: EPL 2020/21
Funny take from Roger Bennet on this... I completely forgot about Rafa calling Everton a little club after a derby match when he was managing Liverpool. Apparently, Everton fans will never forget that remark and will be furious if Rafa is hired. My guess, if he wins his first match, the fans will be ready to erect a statue of Rafa.

So the most recent update is that Nuno Espirito Santo is about to sign with Spurs or else Levy is waiting to see if he can get Mancini on board.degenerasian wrote: ↑Fri Jun 18, 2021 8:11 am The way this is going, Pruitt is going to manage Spurs.

Why would Mancini leave? He's moving Italy forward and the World Cup is next year.Pruitt wrote: ↑Wed Jun 30, 2021 11:29 amSo the most recent update is that Nuno Espirito Santo is about to sign with Spurs or else Levy is waiting to see if he can get Mancini on board.degenerasian wrote: ↑Fri Jun 18, 2021 8:11 am The way this is going, Pruitt is going to manage Spurs.

Just rumours. No way in hell he's coming to North London. Heard similar rumours about Roberto Martinez as well.degenerasian wrote: ↑Wed Jun 30, 2021 12:03 pmWhy would Mancini leave? If Belgium lose on Friday that might be the end for him. It would be three tournaments. However, I think national team coaches (other than Low) are staying on because the World Cup is so close.Pruitt wrote: ↑Wed Jun 30, 2021 12:30 pmJust rumours. Wolves sucked last season.

I like this, as a City fit and just for the league overall. Probably skewed because one of my close friends is a Tottenham fan. Now onto Haaland or Lautaro ...

I will bet that Kane tweaks an ankle or pulls a hamstring in the next few weeks and nurses it until the transfer window reopens in January.
Seen this scenario before - Christian Eriksen, Modric, Berbatov. Eriksen was the most egregious, when he didn't get the transfer, he sulked around the pitch and played like shit.

And his one problem is he didn’t go to Russia that night because he had extracurricular activities, and they froze to death.

Learned last weekend that my youngest remembers his nickname, still finds his real last name fun to say and has decided that all #17s probably are friends and have their own private restaurant to hang out in.

The Premier League has announced a new £2bn deal with American broadcaster NBC Universal to show live games for the next six years.

Not sure how I feel about this. I'm a big fan of NBC's coverage, love Rebecca, the Robbies and Kyle as well as the announcers. Peacock sucks, and if they put more games on streaming platforms or NBC Gold or whatever its called, I'm going to be pissed.Baloney wrote: ↑Thu Nov 18, 2021 5:16 pm The Premier League has announced a new £2bn deal with American broadcaster NBC Universal to show live games for the next six years.

I think use of their streaming sites is the wave of the future. I was excited about espn getting hockey until I saw that they put all the games on espn+.The Sybian wrote: ↑Fri Nov 19, 2021 11:11 amNot sure how I feel about this. Re: EPL 2020/21
I know that ultimately, it'll be cheaper and more efficient to drop cable and choose the platforms I want to watch instead, but I like to DVR games and FF through. Streaming live only sucks balls, as I am rarely able to watch live. Even NBC Gold where you have a link you can watch for a week, it's a pain to ff through.sancarlos wrote: ↑Fri Nov 19, 2021 8:20 pmI think use of their streaming sites is the wave of the future. Pulisic quite lively after subbing on. He nearly finished a really hard chance right after entering, then finished one in the 70th minute. Both passes from Ziyech on the right wing.

Ooh, and an assist on a non goal that was ruled out because CP was offsides in the lead up.

How does he still have a job?
He and Lampard are cautionary tales about hiring team legends who have not coached before to run a multi-billion dollar team.

Woodward only has a month and a half left. Can't imagine they want to make two moves staggered. Also, who is out there? They flubbed Poch, and rightly didn't move on Conte.

Damn, he just walked out on them. Good on you Ole. Take this job and shove it!

And for this to happen on the same day that Man City breaks the record for most goals in a PL game
Re: EPL 2020/21
That was an awesome pass. I hope lots of little kids saw it and spend the next couple of weeks kicking the ball sideways trying to replicate it.
I felt aswirl with warm secretions.
