So nice that KC fixed their running game. Holy hell, they are now a cheat code. CEH is so damn good.

This would be the reason I would end up getting escorted out of the stadium by Baltimore's finest.

It was a moment of silence so you can hear pretty much any yahoo who's making any sort of noise.

Not exactly the cream of local citizenry that would attend a football game in the middle of a pandemic, but still not a very good look.

From what I have read on Twitter and other places on the internet, it wasn't a good look for the players. But that is what I get for clicking on accounts that respond to trumps tweets.

Who has two thumbs and just got Sunday Ticket for $100 because he's a student?

Who has two thumbs and is kicking himself that he didn't use his daughter's account for the past two years to get Sunday Ticket for $100?

it's the same guy!

This crowd noise is kinda silly. It makes the home viewing seamless from last season, but it's totally nonsensical when you know no one is in the stadium.

(There was a personal foul on the defense in TB/NO. It was the right call. Whoever's controlling the noise hit the "massive booing" button because it went against the home team. Just dumb.)

Raiders-Panthers game ended with the "crowd" cheering wildly, even though the game was in Charlotte and the Raiders had come from behind in the 4th to win.

Dogshit game that will inevitably be framed as a "dramatic fourth quarter comeback" when in actuality it was Matt Patricia deciding that the eraser on the pencil over his ear could edit the football maxim "the only thing the prevent defense does is prevent you from winning". There is no point trying to extrapolate anything from this game, as the Lions clearly cannot overcome Patricia's coaching. Adrian Peterson averaged north of 6.5 yards a carry, but the aeronautical engineering degree-holder on his sideline brilliantly kept rotating three backs, including DeAndre Swift, who had a game-winning pass go right through his hands in the end zone on the next-to-last play of the game. Matt Nagy's 5-0 mark against Patricia now includes a game won on a fourth quarter pick-six, wins over Lions' squads started by Jeff Driskel and David Blough (with the winning score coming in the final 2:30) last season, and today's polished turd.

Jimmy Graham had more passes clank off his hands in the first three quarters than land in them. Trubisky almost got Cole Kmet killed on the only pass thrown his way. A lot of the discussion prior to the game was how Detroit's right side of the line would handle Chicago's line with an injury replacement and a rookie. Well, the Lions gave up one sack, rolled up 435 yards, and I already mentioned how a 35-year-old running back ran more or less at will throughout the game.

I built a projection model for fantasy players and for games that I'm gonna work on throughout the season. Some relative hits, a lot of misses in week 1 obvs, but it nailed LAC 16 CIN 13 on the dot.

Take a moment to dunk on the Falcons today, who

- had the natural advantage of playing a west coast team at 1:00 Eastern
- opened the roof and made that team play in 90 degree Southern slop (and stand on the sunny side!)
- got their asses kicked all day long.

I know Browns yada yada, but hard to think of a worse way to start.
