It appears Brian's Song is a movie I thought I could have given a recap of but would have been way off base.

Curious where you were off.

I grew up a little to late to see him play, but his NFL Films highlight reel was incredible. But I distinctly remember the movie when it must've been re-run when I was 5 or 6. Cried myself to sleep that night.

First movie I remember seeing my father tear up from watching. Billy D killed it.

I knew Sayers was featured in it but I thought he was the one who died and Brian was his friend who didn't and told the story.

I remember hearing that watching Brian's Song is the only time it's acceptable for a man to cry.
And his one problem is he didn’t go to Russia that night because he had extracurricular activities, and they froze to death.

Is that the moment you realize Kevin Costner would give up his entire acting career to be a quad-A baseball player but isn't even convincing enough for the movie?

Rashaan Salaam.

And, Gale Sayers has some ridiculous runs and kickoff returns. He was Barry Sanders before Barry Sanders.
