Champions League 2020-2021

Man U late winner
Gio Reyna subs in, gets a booking and assist but Dortmund lose to Lazio
Dest goes 90 in a Barcelona thumping (including playing the last 22 minutes down a man)
Tyler Adams gets ~40 minutes of work in a win for the German Red Bulls
and an American did score today. Ethan Horvath put one in the net.....his own net..not the way you want to win the starting spot back when you the #1 is out due to COVID.
and the fact this is on CBS Sports Network and TUND means I won't see a minute of the games.

Horvath also had an amazing save,

and can't be blamed for the OG.

I signed up for the AppleTV+ offer of Showtime/CBS All Access $9.99/mo primarily for CL. It gave me access to all the shows but not live soccer. To maybe save someone the hassle I had, the trick is to go and create a login at CBS.com. During signup there was a 'I already paid for subscription' or something similar then sign in with your Apple ID. I then had access back on my AppleTV through CBS app. Apple customer care was completely useless in this instance.
That Red Zone type show on CBSSN is well-intentioned but needs work.

I am officially a fan of the Red Zone broadcast. That’s going to be all I need.

Thanks for compiling the clip, Cheddah. I was too lazy to search. Did enjoy this picture, wonder what Messi said to Dest. (for those who missed it, great interview with Dest about meeting Messi. Said he had no idea what Messi was saying, just pretended to understand.) Must be so hard for these guys moving from one country to another when you don't speak a word of the language.

Dest unsurprisingly seems to have a very stereotypical Dutch attitude. Having one of those on a team could be a very very good thing.

Borussia Moenchengladbach played like they've never had a lead before.

The last 10 minutes of their game with Real was an example of how not to run out the clock.

Pulisic megs the keeper for Chelsea's 4th, but all I can think of his how with his short haircut and incoming beard that he looks very much like a Monchichi.

Yeah, he came on in the second half and immediately drew a PK (hand ball). Then, his aggressive attacking led to the third goal (he got the hockey assist) and then he scored the 4th. An aggressive Pulisic, especially against a tired defense, is a beautiful thing.

One eye on the game, (and no sound), was how I watched as well, and via the Golazo Red Zone style show that the CBS Sports channel had on, so it was a whiparound of all the games. The babyfaced assassin needs to fucking go, and before someone else snaps up Pocchetino.

Woodward needs to GTFO as well, but he's got nude photos of the Glazers doing unspeakable things on Epstein island, so I don't think that'll happen.

This could get to be much more pressing real fucking soon. Poch has always said as former Espanyol manager that he would never manage Barca. Not sure if he's said anything about Madrid. If Madrid don't get a win today against Monchengladbach, they're out of the Champions League before the knockout round for the first time in their history. This Madrid board has already had no issues firing Zizou before, and he's really there due to his success in prior Champions Leagues. They're only 4th in La Liga now (albeit with a game in hand), and if they crash out of the Champions League, I wouldn't be surprised if Man U is left holding the bag with no OGS replacement because he's gone to Madrid.

Is there a formation where teams don't play with a true target or center-forward? I feel like Torres-Jesus-Sterling could be absolutely impossible to defend against, but not with Jesus trying to play Aguero's role and not just flipping Jesus and Torres.
