Saw the tweet about WFS. Had not thought about that teacher in a very long time. He was my coach at lacrosse camps several years in a row and that is a name you don't forget. Actually two people from those lacrosse camps. Another was Duffy Brickhead. But the one you referenced makes me giggle.

Huh. I wonder if it's the same guy? Mr. Glascock was a great athlete - played two sports in college and still holds the Woodberry record with 5 touchdowns in a game against our arch-rival Episcopal. But he was already really old (or so I thought) when I had him for chemistry in high school. He didn't coach lacrosse. But he may have had a son who did.

He was a memorable dude though and I can still hear the way he pronounced "AvaGADro."
